Does anyone happen to know what kind of moth this is please, without my having to trawl through hundreds of pics?

It's not really vital that I find out, I'm just curious. Maybe it's something really common...and no, it didn't fly out of my purse. :o)

Good moaning...bright but cold again, I can well believe that temperature woofy. I hate the cold more with each passing year, it makes me feel sick & my heart thumps.

Well booger I, I was just going to have a rant because I thought my official email address wasn't working now when I suddenly got mail. Looks like the ab ones are still lost in space though, I'll let you know if & when they appear. Perhaps a few magnets might draw them in.

Oh heck jno, that's a catalogue of disasters...I've got some Miners lippy from 1967 if that's any good to you? It makes you look desperately anaemic (remember those very pale shades?) but it'll get you to front of all medical queues. And the elbow will ease, well mine did...although it does come back from time to time. As does the knees...hips..neck...oh shoot me now.

And more power to the elbows (and all other areas) of ailing husbands, hope they continue to recover. Don't wear yourselves out girls! xx

Oh had a busy day today cleaning out the wardrobes, top and bottom, Poor George is so far back in the top closet he makes the Maniloon look straight! So much rubbish, so little time!! Taken 3 loads to charity shop, and 2 loads to rubbish where I have laid all the shoes out in their pairs for people to help themselves, and loads of rucksacks/handbags. it's my way of recycling.

Lovely hot sunny day, which s why I'm spring cleaning!

I've been doing some clearing myself, the cupboard under the sink... <cue squealy music>....so I thought I'd share some of my findings with you.
As well as a dozen yellow dusters, now defunct in favour of microfibres, & several cleaning fluids whose prices were in £.s.d. there was...
A red dylon...I haven't dyed anything since the 70s
Dried up brasso ....they don't get polished very often
1 tap - cold
A Spong swirlit...haha
A small scrubbing brush in the shape of a dinosaur
Several old toothbrushes - useful for cleaning those awkward little places...some might be Vinny's
A gizmo to remove studs from footy boots....EH?! what the....?!
...and a grow your own handy man...

...sadly not a moth in sight.

Good Afternoon all. Well another trip to Vision Express about my bl***y specs. They have put new pads on them and said if they don't keep them on my nose they will have to replace the frame. I said I wont be charged will I and the young lady said no. Thank goodness!!
The magnet, Kit, on my friend's knee was about the size of a 10p piece. I will have to tell her what your acupuncurist said. Not that she will take much notice of me.
Good for Mr S. Eating a little better now. I think that will help the Stoma process. Shaney. I'm only saying what my Mum told me she experienced when eating more solid food.
Neti I have been through my cupboards as well sorting stuff (didn't throw much away)and today I am wearing another long jumper I haven't worn for years but I feel quite comfy and up to date in it. It covers my btm and keeps me warm round the nethers.
Going to my niece's tonight - she's holding a cosmetics party. I'm a sucker for those sorts of things. Bet I come back with some 'massacre' or something.

It's gone very cold now and in my lounge it's 16 degrees. so I think it's turn the heat up time and a cuppa.

3rd trip to the rubbish, took two cordless in perfect working order, except didn't hold charge for too long, phones so have left them on the bin for people to take and noticed that all the shoes and bags I took last time had gone, I love it when that happens, hate it when something of mine is unwanted!

My Robi, you don't clean cupboards very often do you?? I do notice that I am inclined to put most of the stuff back into the cupboards "just in case I need it".

when we left our house in Surrey we had a skip on the front. It was totally magic...we would put stuff in it and when we got up in the morning we would find that it had changed into different stuff...it must have taken about 2 weeks to get that skip full and keep it full. It was in Surrey where we went to the tip one sunday morning and we saw a woman chucking a le creuset pan. DH had to threaten me with violence to keep me in the car lol. he is back home again looking like the outing did him good :-)

That's exactly it neti, I clean & tidy the cupboards often, especially since the year of the woolly bears, I just never throw anything out....but now I'm going to.

Every year in Eastbourne I buy 2 packs of 7 (I think it is) panties, but never get round to throwing the old grey ones out, "just in case". My knicker drawer is overflowing. When I was up the rubbish I was just checking through it as you do, and blow me there was a new bra I had bought only this Sept, so I brought that back! Tomorrow am starting on the umpteen suitcases stuffed with clothes in the storage shed in the garden!! but Mr N is as bad, hates throwing anything out, they'll be old computer screens and I don't know what when I get to it all!!but he'll moan at me for all "this rubbish" that I keep!!!

lol @the knickers neti...same here & with socks, some of them won't even stay up they're so baggy at the top..... would you believe I'm actually wearing a new bra today instead of the tatty old thing I normally wear on non going out days...why the heck am I saving undies for 'special occasions', I never bloody have any! hahahaha

oh no, my toe's just popped though me popsock, something else I don't throw away - they're great for tying things up in the garden, they don't rot, haha...there's no hope is there?

Snap with the socks and popsocks, I had to tip the whole drawer out, found 6 pairs of gloves and one odd one, so have paired up all the socks and chucked the odd ones, how long will it last ? eh?

You two are making me feel so guilty saving all those things in your cupboards.I chuck loads of stuff to the Charity shops and in the bin. The only thing I find difficult to throw out are tops of any sort. That's why I'm still wearing jumpers from many years ago.

I have just given to the charity shop a jumper of my mum's which I have worn until now and she died 21yrs ago, it was still in good nick, but am being ruthless this year!

Some people are natural 'sorter outers' & some are hoarders Jude. I complained when we had to clear my mum's & to a lesser extent our bro's (he wasn't so bad) but the trouble is I now have my own clutter + some of theirs that I saved. :o/. I kept a cardi of my mum's, not because I'd wear it, but because it was very 'her', one of those fully fashioned, button up to the neck classics in pink...she was Mrs pink :o)
I was all set to throw out a whole load of plant pots but when I heard about this greenhouse I thought I'd better keep them but I'm having a job to convince myself it's a 6' x 6' and not the Eden bloomin Project! :o)

Lol..clutterbuck par excellence here ( amongst my other titles)
I've still got my mums fur jacket ,all ma in laws handbags and practically most of the contents of her home still stuck in the storage unit and it's getting on for two years now .
I have more junk than Steptoe .The loft is full to overflowing with boxfuls of Lego ,Classic Car magazines ,comics and more boys stuff . Cricket bats ,football boots ,books and gawd knows what .
I never get round to sorting stuff out .

Did you see Girls in Pearls last night anyone? The Duchess of Bedford hasn't worn her tiara for twenty five years apparently . Tut ...standards are slipping :)
