Stain on teeth
3 Answers
Hello,
I'm not sure this is the right forum (section of answer bank) I ask the question regarding above.
6 weeks ago I went to see dentist for the first time of my life. Nothing wrong with my teeth at all but I had to attend to see the dentist as his new patient.
He did health check , descaled and polished my teeth. according to him, my teeth and gum are perfectly fine and healthy.
3 weeks after my visit to the dentist I noticed stain (it is not plague) built up on my teeth. I thought it was going going away by itself, but till today the stain is actually built up even more. It looks ugly.
I have never had any problem with my teeth or gum or anything and I was always proud of my teeth and their colour until today. I don't know what the dentist had done to my teeth. I'm not happy with result of his treatment to my teeth.
My question is ... Am I right to tell him that I'm not happy with his service and I want to him to look at them again and put their colour like they were? Am I right if I'm not prepared to pay him again because he didn't do his service right?
Thanks.

Lets face it, if you bought something or paid for some work to your vehicle and didn't think it came up to scratch then you have every right to go back and complain and get it corrected/exchange or refund.!
Unless there is 'small print' to do with your dentist, then you should request another look at the teeth.
Do you have Dental insurance?
You have nothing to lose in going back to the Dentist!

Hi merton69 ... thank you for your advice.
I have made appointment for him to check them again. yes I have health insurance that includes dental treatment too when I need it.
Hi Doolallygirl ... I'm very sure because I do look after my teeth and keep checking for any unsual things on them or gum. Like I said I was very proud of teeth and others always admired of my teeth, and how well I was looking after them. I was attending that dentist because it is their policy to have health check on patients' teeth when they are taking new patients.
Thanks.
