chicken police
510 Answers
Afternoon, animal lovers. I don't have any animals anymore but lov'em and often watch all sorts of animal clips on YouTube. This one featuring the chicken police really intrigued me - is there anyone among you that could come up with a theory as to why two fighting rabbits should annoy the roosters to such a degree??
The second video is just a bonus for you cat lovers, no question attached, although if any of you have your own little roomba driver at home, do tell!

yes neti, Corrie was on at 8.30 on Thurs...and I hope you appreciate the fact I had to go upstairs for my tv mag to check, tut. I took it up last night to do the crossword in bed...gotta keep up with mrs s.
How's the sonic teeth system by the way shaney? You might want to hire it out to me & woofy. Hope you get your tooth sorted woofy...I thought I was the one with a screw loose around here. :o) I'm still on the pap and it does nothing for your sluggish innards.

Ouch! Neti ducked and that hit me, Shaney!
And eeeeeeek...! That's the kind of thing that freaks me out, Woofy - the prospect of swallowing a metal screw in your sleep...! I've got an idea, if you fly to Sweden you'll be able to see a dentist one hour sooner than you will in the UK:)
I've been performing miracles with the interior of my bathroom cabinet and now I can't stop opening it just to savour the sight. I use i.d. bare Minerals and they're brilliant but there's black and blue powder and brushes all over the place - you get the picture. I like to clean my brushes every day and they're not supposed to dry upside down i.e. you shouldn't just stick'em down a mug. So I've been laying them down horizontally on top of everything else and of course they've just kept on falling out and onto the floor - arrghhh. Enter my saviour the spring holder! A device found at art suppliers stores! Couldn't find a piccy of mine - alas it's not this lovely but this will show you the principle of the spring http://i45.tinypic.com/64pflw.jpg holding the brushes. What a delight.
Forgot to ask you about the slippin' statue Robi: What was it, before it became a memorial for me?

You can only download the DT GK crossword if you are a subscriber to the crossword club Neti .Unfortunately I'm not a subscriber and I don't have a scanner so I can't help you .Sarumite may be away on a break . He also has an elderly Mum who he is the full time carer for so he may be otherwise occupied .I'm sure he wouldn't forget you on purpose .You can email him .Have you got his address ? If you haven't let me know and I'll send it to you .

Oi Shaney don't go, I've got a knitting question for you. I saw you answer one and you said that the Americans use different needle sizes to the British and different instructions. I had heard about different needle sizes but how are the instructions different? (I'm trying to create my own little dictionary for my own little purposes:)
Thanks Robi, I hadn't heard about him before. Still don't understand what she's doing in the river...! ha ha but it's quite good.

that brush holder is a piece of art all on its own Kit...must admit that i was so relieved that it was just the cap that had come off and not the whole implant falling out, I wasn't too freaked, also the screw is tiny, like something you'd see in a watch so you'd probably never know you'd swallowed it.
We had Minus 8!!!!!!!! here this morning at 6am when we took the dogs out. They loved tearing around in the frost, its great for holding scent. When we got to the car park, there was a car already there that had been there all night. In the summer its not uncommon for people to go out to the forest, share food and beer or wine then just sleep in their cars or occasionally pitch tents even though its not allowed but in minus 8 the man must be mad (I say that as a a quasi fact, its almost always men who do it) Anyway he had started the car when we were putting the dogs back in so at least we know he was alive.
We watched the new Star Trek film on dvd last night it was really good. The actors have copied some of the original folks' voice mannerisms and intonation..clever stuff. They have kept the story simple, showed enough backstory for the geeks like me but also made it accessible if you had never heard of Star Trek.

chilly today - ok it's about 12° and Mr N has actually lighted a real log fire (no coal here) so why am I sitting in bed trying to keep warm, not using the heating so as to save money. Had lovely menu del dia at local restaurant, goats cheese salad, leg of lamb in a lovely sauce and flao (a minty type cakey thing) delicious!
