I doubt that it would be possible for AB to have such a facility. However, it would be nice if there was a means whereby one could draw the attention of a member to an item in which they could be interested and may wish to comment, because of their particular knowledge on the subject concerned.

Like PM's?
I thought that was part of ahat we did
'FAO' threads always go down well with the Ed...
You're on a hiding to nothing with this, Ron...
Yes I think its a shame when a lot of people are posting, that questions get missed as they disappear so quickly from the "latest posts"
I think Ed mentioned bringing PM's back at some point.
Here's another "jargon" I don't understand - sorry what's a PM (apart from David Cameron haha) You old timer ABers must think us newbies are thick but honestly please - you should provide a "glossary" for all these abbreviations/expressions its like a new language to us!
I think he did as well nudgescuffler, it would be better than the FAO, post and 'tag' someone that knows what they're talking about on a particular subject if you have confidence in that user.
It's 'personal messages' :-)
nudges...cuffler Ummm! lol
Arksided....who are you calling a nudgescuffler? :-)
:-)
Of course PM - personal messages, silly me - its better than doing the Daily Mail crossword to try and guess :-)
No-one sweetie my heart is with you... lol
Lol :-)
It's the first time I've come across the AB filter system (made me laugh) ;-)

Thanks nudgescuffler for having clarified what a PM is. I've been a member since Aug 2006 and Ann86 has joined us in August of this year. Neither of us knew what it meant and she has a point in suggesting that there should be a glossary for abbreviations.

Really? You obviously don't swear much. My fav is p!ss. :-)
nudgescuffler I don't geddit

I am now annoyed and it is for the ED or someone in a position of authority to tell me who is nudgescuffler and why the name has appeared in my posting when I clearly typed in the name nudgescuffler.
