avatar - how??

My profile says I may have an avatar in 0 days and after 10 more posts. Trouble is that the 10 never changes. Can I have an avatar now?

It has said 10 more posts for a fortnight, the phrasing of "10 more" indicates that it probably should be some sort of running total, so if it is questions then it should now say "4 more", "3 More" etc then at least I'll know where I stand. I do have a gravatar but there does not appear to ba a way to activate it in AB.

To Brains Tracy.Sorry to interrupt your post,welcome to AB

If you go into My Profile do you have an "activate avatar" button?
If not, click on Edit Profile button. If you have an avatar on Gravatar (using teh same email addressa s you use for AB) it should appear there. Then you need to tick the box nxt to it (it says something like ''turn on avatar')

yes yes but why does it still say "10 more" if that never moves then the number is infinite and the fact that others have avatars means that cannot be right. I have gone through the process in the link from nudgescuffler above.

Well we are suggesting you just ignore that "10 more posts" comment and just try to set one up.
At what point in the process does it fail?

I have set one up but it does not appear, well not to me anyway, does it appear to you? So the countdown bit isn't working fair enough. Well it seems I must ask 10 questions.

Tracy make sure you select 'G' when you pick the avatar you are going to use ?
