Hotly incessant, Ed's voice
Methodically flogged the heavy Friday lunchtime air:
A voice that held Traci's bones
Of AB happiness and fear;
Ed's voice in which emotion
Sharply ridiculed itself;
A gnome-ish vigorous voice
Mockingly tearing an AB life
With an unanswerable non sequiter question.

Hollowed out by the ABer's howl,
We turned and saw an asylum Mod guard.
Their petulantly flabby face
Rolled into booze-loaded chips of eyes.
They bore the aimless Bardish confidence
Of one contentedly playing with other craftie wings.
The walked away; the Aber above still shrieked.

We could not separate them.
Normal insanity resumed in the land of the AB free.
