Ma previous question was not an invitation to have me suspended. The gypes who have done it probably think it's dead funny but the truth is it's pathetic. To think there are folk who have taken the time to register only to do this sort of thing is sad. If it were done by wee ones I could maybe understand but I doubt that very much

It may be that anna's posts have been blocked because in a fit of womanly enthusiasm she submitted too many of them in one day. Learning which lesson, I should probably stop soon myself; I passed my 1000 this morning. Anyway, you haven't been totally barred, TCL, which is a step forward.

I think its a glitch. Some of my postings are on the main board but not in my profile and one question, not mine, a really harmless one, says it has 4 answers and only has 3. about 8 months ago both Quizmonster and I suddenly couldn't post at all, we both thought that we had been banned for no reason as we couldn't email the Ed either, managed to use other peoples' computers to post and found that it was a techie thing and not our faults at all. It happened at a time of changes to the site so hopefully this heralds the advent of the not-a-chat-room

Personaly I suspect foul play.  Last night a number of users ganged up on me, laying into me for just about every post I had posted in the last day or so - including the undoubtedly nice ones!  Then suddenly - my posts disappear.  That's not spooky - it seems clear to me that someone's playing silly beggers. 

I emailed Ed to express my disappointment.  I told ABE that I reckon somone signed in under one of their user names, reported all my questions, then signed in under their other multiple user names and did the same til the bots banned me.  They may have done the same to other people. And no, I'm not pointing the finger - I can't tell who is who anymore.  For all I know, it could be me, and one other user on this site! :-p

I agree with TCL - it's really not funny.  Now, even if I vow to stay away from chat, I can't even help people in other simple "fact finding" threads.  I know I could use this name to do so, but seeing as how that got me a load of abuse yesterday, it won't be long before this alternative ID gets wiped too.

PS - To anyone new, I freely admit this is my second ID.  I don't see the harm in using it VERY RARELY when there is a technical glitch that stops me from using acw.  I don't pretend to be anyone else and I don't use multiple user names to get people banned.  :-D

I got mine banned last night when people jumped to the defence of a guy I'd supposedly had a go at.  That user, whose question I had answered, didn't even get his 2d worth in before my answers were pulled.  Surely it's up to HIM to decide if my tone was rude?

I did feel you were sarcastic to my answer on the question posted by Madge.B this was pointed out by another user as well You were rude to RacingLover and you apologized, you refused to apologize to me. I will not post on any of your Q&A and I would prefer you don�t post on mine.

Yes I AM the real acw.  I admit it quite happily.  Most imposters on this site deny any linkage with their name sake - I am happily saying that's me!  I don't see that I should be ashamed of who I am - however much you would like me to be.

As for me not answering any of your questions in the future - fair enough.  It is sad that there has been this misunderstanding.  Clearly I must remember to put more smileys after my answers as people sadly assume I am grumpy and rude.  If anybody else would like me banned from their personal threads - perhaps they could let the editor know. 

Please don't let this post get turned into another acw bashing - I had enough of it yesterday.

PS - See TCL - it's not just you who's being got at!  I know how you feel hun.  I'm actually getting quite upset by people personally ganging up on me.  I think it's so sad that people won't give me the benefit of the doubt and judge me so quickly.  I also tihnk it's sad that some users have worked to get certain people's posts removed.  :-(

anna, as I suggested above, you may just have posted too often - there's a limit (undisclosed) in force; an anti-spam thing I presume. If the robots think you're anna the spamma... Are your posts still visible in your profile, or can't you sign on as acw at all?

Looks like I can still sign in and post.  I do still wish ABE would come back.  Thanks for not doubting me jno - you know I'm honest about my identities! :-)

Looks like I can sign in under acw, but not post.  If people really really doubt that I have both usernames, I could post my passwords for both - but I think that would be a little irresponsible!
