It seems we're not getting any changes on AB 'til after xmas so I've set up a grotto for us. Sorry it's a bit like a scene from Great Expectations but I've sprayed a few cobwebs silver & blown the dust off me doileys so please come in & sit down.
What do all the biddies/grumps want to find in their wrinkly stockings this year then? Do you like all this festivity or will you be the grumpy gran/grandpa from hell this year?
Please feel free to take a present out of the bran tub as you leave by the way. Contents may be unidentifiable....oops sorry...be varied.

Dear AB Ed how sweet of you (by the way it's Bing Bong - not the other way round) Have been to dentist need to have the nerve taken out after xmas - so he fiddled about to make me more comfortable. He said he'd never heard such language from such a dear old biddy - I was drenched, the tena kept twisting and it was sheer torture, the mere thought of lametta makes my teeth go on edge. Lets see. the heap in the corner groaning is jno, he''ll be better once the antibiotics have taken effect, try the old oil of cloves jno, dulls the pain and puts off the biddies with the mistletoe.

That rather exotic smell is Vinny, we don't buy air freshener any more, we just hang him up in alternate loos.

Neti and Robinia are around somewhere, I think Robinia went to the sales to replenish the bran tub. You are welcome to a dip but be careful how you open the parcel, some people mentioning no names, have a rather robust sense of humour, especially after 15 straight days on the Wincarnis and coke.

The tangled heap in the corner watching its a wonderful life and joining in the songs (well they think its a musical) are Smudge, Gessoo and Graemer and the person drawing pinning up the pictures is In a Pickle, our illustrator in residence. Anyway, have a seat, no not there the cat's just.....oh well it'll brush off lovely when its dry.....rub Vinny on it to take the smell out.

I didn't, I made the muffins, but no-one wanted any so I fed them to the ducks...anyway they were very tasty, no I mean I never tasted any, thats what I mean.

Also someone seems to have topped it up with cat litter...

Well, yet again I got out of the ironing and the housework. Went to deliver a card to a friend and she gave me lunch and red wine...............couldn't possibly do anything now, even if I wanted to. Just caught up with the latest news from the grotto and grab a cappucino from Vinny! See you later.
