Ever wondered what AB Ed did in her spare time? Me too... until I was wandering in the bazaars of Damascus the other day and saw <A target='_blank' href=&quot;http://img328.imageshack.us/my.php?image=abed7yt.jpg& ;quot;>this</A>. Crafty, eh?

oooh I think imageshack's made it too small, it looks much better as a large pic & not bad for my first attempt.

Wrong picture!

Good picture, Robbie. You wouldn't have to look far to spot all my weeds! I was wondering where you were today. Nice to see you. Sorry you don't feel quite yourself yet. Some warm weather might help.

I'm just off for a walk to town. Have now lost just over a stone without too much effort. The walking is helping.

Well Biddies I'm not much of a gardener but this morning I've been and bought some plants for my pots to brighten things up a bit. I like to keep it tidy but don't know the names of all the plants like Robinia. You all seem to have nice gardens. It's the digging that gets me down, there is a man at work who does gardening part-time and I've ask him if he will give mine a bit of a dig. (Unless Vinny fancies a trip to Derby.) :o)

Definitelt not posting anymore on the shopping thread - total waste of time.

Whoops what happened there sorry to bore you to death!

sorry you're feeling on edge Robinia, hope the clouds pass. My, just seen they had 5 inches of snow in Tunbridge Wells, that'll annoy Disgusted Of... Haven't they heard it's April?

Lovely garden gessoo, I think I see a breeding pair of pumas in the undergrowth there. When English gardens are pretty they're very pretty.

Hope Carol Anne doesn't shop in Derby Jude, for your sake!! What a clever clogs she thinks she is!

I really like the check out staff in our Morrisons, or most places as it happens. They seem to be a mixture of OAPs and students of both sexes. The OAPs are the most fun, but the students are usually just great. I am sure it can be very harrassing at time on those checkouts, especially with Carol Annes and Looseheads about. I almost always have a real laugh at the checkouts and end up forgetting to take my card out the swipe machine.

Gessoo I don't work all the time on a checkout only when we're busy, but I give out change and sort cashiers and customers problems out so I have an all round idea of what goes on. If Carol Anne came to our Store I would give her the same respect I give all other customers. Maybe!! ;-)

By the way your garden is lovely and bbbiiiggg!!Mine's just a 'postage stamp' compared.

What lovely pics of everyones gardens! Very uplifting.
I won't post any of my tip .. ..until I have been out there and done some actual gardening !!
Pay no attention to that cee o wubbleyou in that thread Jude.
People like that annoy me.I used to work for Sainsburys ..many moons ago now ..but I liked working there and made some great friends and am still in touch with my old deputy manager who has now retired and is a JS pensioner.
Our local supermarket staff are great.Too much ..hurry hurry these days..people haven't a minute to live..well that's their loss not ours.

Shaney, you ought to see my garden at the moment. It is absolutely dreadful. Everything needs trimming and tidying. Nothing has been done since the autumn! I have only ventured out into the wild bit once since Christmas!!

Jude, my garden is too big. They won't let us sell us the huge bit at the side as a building plot because of the local rules and regs. Shame, 'cos the money would come in very, very useful! Half way to my holiday home on the Med. in fact.

Now about to start work :o(

I'm off out to a quiz tonight Gessoo. Don't you go working too hard!

I've just come for a quiet 10 mins while I drink me ovaltine - have you seen it out there <<< lately? 'Specially in B&S, it's like cb revisited. I've not been round the old ab much for the past week & I don't think I'll be bothering to go again if that's what it's coming to....grumble, mumble....

oh well, only about 36 weeks to xmas, I'll have to start looking round for a grotto soon, hehe.....ducks....don't get stuck up the chimnea Vinny....

Hi Robinia Just got back from the quiz. Had a good laugh. It's a different one from the usual and I think we'll be going there again. I don't go into the other topics at all except this last one about Supermarkets caught my eye but I wont be bothering again. It's not nice and comfortable like it is on here and I mean that sincerely! Have a good night.

See you all tomorrow - maybe! Goodnight! x

yes, B&S is awash with chat all of a sudden, isn't it? It's actually all quite friendly - there was a lot of nastiness on CB - so I don't really mind but I feel a bit sorry for all those people who post serious Qs about broken legs and heartbreak and stuff, only for them to be pushed out of sight by group hugs before anyone's answered. As for News, well, too much shouting altogether. Ah, why can't they all be like biddies, meek and uncomplaining (except when limbs fall off, of course).

Hello from cloudy Spain - yeah but it'll probably be bright and sunny in an hour. Lovely gardens, I don't have a garden I have land, all stones and cats (most not mine). Water is too valuable to waste on ornamental plants, so we don't. I'd love a beautiful lawn but that's one of the pleasures I have to forego living here. Whenever I go to England I always roll on my sister's lawn or the local park (looking out for lion poo of course). It is getting increasding harder to get up once I've rolled so look a bit silly struggling on the grass.

Am just going to download some piccies of my garden, now be careful if you have a heart condition - it's shocking for garden lovers.

Let's see if I can show this photo of my land
