yrs woofy, I have 4 apartments, I villa and 4 trailers, all with xmas trees etc which had to be gotten rid of and new fur jackets to buy for my dolls !! Back from The English Shop with three new Dunoon mugs:) There was a young man and a young woman behind the counter today, both of them British, chatting to each other about this and that. As I approached to pay for my goods, she left, saying to him "I'm just going to the toilet" and he called out after her "Would you bring me back a glass of water, please!" My first record was... The Beatles, Let It Be, if you go by singles, and John Lennon Imagine, if you go by LPs. That was for a small white plastic gramophone that looked like a briefcase and I loved it so much. It was so small the records almost hung over, like a pizza on a plate ha ha. Later on I won (!) a stereo set and my first LP for that one was Porgy & Bess.

Oh I haven't shown you this year's Idol winner. Here's the moment when he wins. The man he high fives is his father, and next, his girlfriend joins him on stage and SHE NEVER STEPS DOWN. She's almost been persecuted for that, on blogs, declaring her embarrassing beyond words and so on. Well you lovely people ,thank you all soooo much for my birthday greetings .I'm still unloading Vinny's presents .I was pleased to see he included a shovel.Lampwick's still out there trying to find the gin :) The strippergram went down a treat :)
I've had a nice day and some lovely cards and pressies .Had a lovely afternoon tea,with my crew at an 'otel on the seafront ...after we managed to shovel our way out of the house .
All nice fancy cakes( on a stand ) dainty sandwiches,scones and jam etc ,then back to my brothers ,where he plied me drink :)
