I have an Irish sister-in-law who insists she can do 2 lengths of the baths sideways!! ( I Hope you get it)
As for my note book I have loads of quotes
Here's a more serious quote for you - who said - Never look down on anyone unless you're helping them up.
Just one more then I'll shut up
You don't stop laughing because you grow old - you grow old because you stop laughing - Anon
Night night all I'm off now - see yer later 'gater(s)

Thats a good one jude. Winstone Churchill.
One famous exchange he had was in the British parliament when he appeared there drunk. He was challenged by an indignant woman who told him he was drunk. His reply was:
'Madam, I may be drunk, but you are ugly and in the morning I will be sober.' yo >>>>>(:O)

Oooh no has Vinny disappeared into the ether .
Come back ,we need you to get the sprouts on ready for Crimble .
What a weather !
Been sat in the garden ,bright sunshine ,and all of a sudden masses of seagulls floating overhead ,then it went dark and down it came in stair rods .Thunder and lightning very very frightening .
Last night was just as bad ...thunder and lightning until the small hours .I got up feeling like death warmed up this morning . Mr S never heard a thing .If WW3 broke out he would sleep through it .
Even my mouse is conspicuous by his absence .It's as black as yer hat again now ..Bye Bye summer ,such as it was ...

Evening dawgs. Anybody want to go to a Leonard Cohen concert with me? Spent all day trying to find somebody who does... but it's no no no. 2008 is the first time in fifteen years he's touring Sweden and he'll be 74 next month. I used to see him "all the time" when I was young, in Copenhagen and a little university town called Lund, down south. He's been a constant companion throughout my life - but I don't seem to know a living soul who feels the same way. Did you know he spent 5 years as a buddhist monk? Acquiring profound wisdom
Love that song, Shaney. The other day I was watching your HANDBAG YouTube clip again, it's every bit as funny now as it's been all the other times I've been watching it anew. Lena Horne alive???!!!! Certainly didn't know that. Isn't it funny (?) how, when retired celebrities die, we always say "She's alive??"

Oh what a shame shaney (love that song) but it's been ♫Summertime ♫ here....glorious the best day we've had for ages. I think all the birds had gone off on a picnic but I did find a lone frog in the shade...Would it be too much one asks oneself, for it to be like this for a few weeks? Obviously it would, grrrr.
Charlie's lovesick, my neighbour's looking after her granddaughter's dog for a week he's sat at his peephole in the hedge gazing at her. The fact that she's 4 times bigger in all directions as he is (& half his age) isn't putting him off.
men!
oh dear, the Cohen video won't move on my puta....
je suis dsol ........................................not :o)
happy clappy singalong

Wow, great version of that song, Robinia. Do try to watch Leonard later, he's very funny. Yes he is. I tell you he is.
charlie What peculiar lives animals have, breeding till they die. Much like my plants... anyone in need of potted plants? It's no no no there as well, nobody wants to take them off my hands and I don't have it in me to throw them in the bin. Composting would feel a little bit better but not much.
I'm afraid old Leonard Cohen doesn't exactly do anything for me Kit except send me to sleep :) Soreeee!
Oh bless Charlie . I remember when next door got their dog .She's a lovely thing .A white alsatian cross .Shaney used to be glued to fence in spite of being snipped !
I think he was in love with her .
Poor old lass hardly sees the light of day . All I hear is that lout swearing at her and they never take her out .The other day I was sat in the garden and I heard him swear at her and then this awful yelping .He must have hurt her . But his mother's at work all day to keep him in the style he is accustomed too.If he was mine I would accustom him to a short sharp shock but there you go .
She was a novelty that wore off. They were always taking her out at first but now she's just shut up indoors all day and just let out into the garden for piddles etc .
I get so upset over it. .I don't think they ill treat her as such but she must be lonely .
If she does happen to be out the front she goes mad if I make a fuss of her .
I would willingly walk her( in fact I would take her off them if they didn't want her anymore ) but they are not the sort of people you would want to get too involved with.
Pay no attention to my rant ....it must be the weather .
I may give a few sharp shocks in other places soon ... I'm in the mood for it !!
Big bully men behind computer screens .....Pah.

Is that lout next door a child or a young man, Shaney? (I'm just trying to make a mental picture of him.) You once mentioned in passing that Shaney had had another family before you took him on. How did that come about?
Leonard's manager completely -ed him over a couple of years ago so I think he probably really has to tour to make an actual living, jno You like him? Well then here's looking at you, jno

yes, if you say so, I'll put him (LC) on my must listen to list then Kit...maybe one day when they're drilling the road up & I've got the vac on....hehe
My indoor plants are shameful, except for the orchids, but as long as they cling desperately to life I can't bear to throw them out either. I've got plenty of outdoor plants if you fancy doing some guerilla gardening?...there are about 2,000 cotoneaster seedlings for starters (pity you can't cook the bloomin stuff)
Did they add anything else useful to the park btw? Tattoos while-u-wait? Square nail kiosk? I think I'll set up a 'readings' kiosk in my front garden. I predict there'll be an accident near here before long. They've put up a 2m fence around the corner of a cul-de-sac that leads on to my road. There were enough narrow squeaks before, now I dread to think..... I didn't think you could do that if it obscured the view?
oh that's sad about the dog shaney there are far too many stories like that.
What's with the bullies, are 'they' at it again? I'll put me colander on when I've polished off the strawberries in it!
