Good morning all. Lovely refreshing day. Been up since 6. I'm off to Ruffoird Mill , Edwinstowe and Worksop today apparently. Talked to me sis about it last night.
Yes shaney, the photo was taken on Cromer Pier. They each had arranged times and places to busk around the town and our John said he raised £17 in an hour. Bless him. Hope you're feeling better today.
Have a good day everyone.
yes, neti, I had the council in but they couldn't see where the water was coming from and neither can I. (The obvious culprit was next door's swimming pool - only it's kept empty.) So I'm having to take care of it myself and it's costing even more than my teeth. It drizzled overnight but the lawn isn't flooded today so that's a hopeful sign. It would be an even better sign if the workmen turned up to complete the job but so far I'm still waiting.

Oh look, I've had an email

My name is Captain Matthew Stamford of the US Marine corps stationed in Kabul, Afghanistan,
I found some money stashed in a couple of barrels while on patrol ($900,000.00) I need someone to help me move it to a safer place, please have it in mind that there is no danger involved. You may contact me on [email protected] so that I can provide you with more details.

These emails just get more and more plausible every minute.

Oh yes, go on jno, and then we'll share it, and I can give you the money I get for being a nigerian princess (ahh so that's where my tanned skin is coming from)

I had one of those "I have lots of wonga to give you" emails recently If you drag them into (or they arrive in) the junk box in outlook, it shows you the true sender's details and what the click here link actually is. On this one the sender was and you will have to interpret because of the swearometer "[email protected]
I mean talk about self confidence.

Its a lovely cool scented day here. We all had a lie in, dogs too. DH slept six solid hours last night (hoorah) and his foot is much less swollen and painful.
Good news about Mr Woofie!

Why for the past few weeks is my face covered in exzma and spots just like a teenager (except I never had teenage spots!). I don't want to go to the doctor about spots but nothing I am doing is working. They are mainly around my mouth and chin. It happens (not usually to this extent) most summers when I start gardening and I wondering if it's a reaction to a particular plant/weed.

Anyway, it looks just horrible!!
Lottie have you tried gardening in a dust mask? even a hank?lie or scarf tied around your face?
Hi Woofie. Perhaps I should do that.

However, after I posted I looked at myself and was disgusted, so at 11.30 I phoned the local surgery, got myself an appointment with the Duty Nurse at 12.15 and was back home at 12.30.

I now have antibiotics and fucindin cream. She says its 'Wet Impetigo and catching'. She also said be careful who I kiss to which I replied that chance would be a fine thing!!

Anyway, I am glad I went, although impetigo seems odd. It started off like exzema and just seems to be infected. If the medication works I don't care what it is. But I shall keep the cream handy, as this definitely happens to me each summer. This time it has been worse than usual.

Okay that's it: I'm moving to Cornwall. I just loved that video Woofy. I like this fool the swearometer game as well. How about [email protected], ha ha.

So did you all turn into werevolwes last night? Somebody I know only on FB wrote in her status that she always greets the full moon. Last night she was driving in her car when she saw the moon and she went HELLOOOOOO "in a deep, manly voice" - only to discover her window's were down and there where pedestrians about, ha ha ha!

Your brother and his band look great Jude. What an artistic family you all are. BTW, speaking of being artistic and creative, did y'all know creativity and (a certain kind of) anxiety go together, they come in the same package. Both of them are about thinking up thing's that aren't actually yet in existence. So, for some of the people some of the time, it does take the edge off to engage themselves in something creative, cos that leaves less fuel for the anxiety. I'm not saying it works for everything, I'm not that naive, still, it's inneresting:)

I think there is a strong element of truth in that Swedie. I shall now consider myself very creative!

Seriously though, it is a good bit of reasoning.
doesn't everyone go out and howl at the moon? I sure do
good on you Lottie..sometimes its easier to take care of other people than ourselves
You are so right there Woofy. I take more care of the dog and cat than I do myself. But I just looked so terrible and I have been feeling really tired and off colour as well. My hair has gone all limp too and the bags under my eyes are even worse than usual. Perhaps I will go out and howl at the moon later!

Well, it either rained here this afternoon or jno's drains are backing up over here!!
Evening all. Are you watching the ESC something-something...? I'm a patriot but Sweden's girl is soo boooring I'm almost hoping we won't get to send her. She sounds like she's about to start crying cos she's so moved by her own singing, ha ha. And her voice sounds like... er... like a cat that's brought you a mole or a locust and now it's meowing to get your attention but careful not to open its mouth too wide and drop the prey. She's on next...
I've had a glass of wine and I almost reported your thread as inappropriate Neti when all I meant to do was "Post An Answer" =:0 How the h3ll did that happen, they're VERY far apart...!
Lottie if you have been harbouring a sub clinical infection it can make you feel like poo.
My dentist got quite worried when i wouldn't have a tooth out because he said that the pockets in the gum were harbouring infection that would be affecting my health. I felt fine so didn't take much notice but it was amazing how much better I felt once the tooth was out.

I now have a big hole above my front incisor tooth so will (reluctantly) have to get it fixed if it's cheap enough!

Have not seen or heard any of the
Eurovison entries and so I will be an excellent and impartial judge!
Actually Woofy, I have been having trouble with my gum where I continuously bite into it and it keeps getting infected (I have a very closed bite). This has been ongoing for years and there is nothing they can do except give me antibiotics when it gets really bad. I have seen a hospital specialist, but unless I have my jaw broken and realigned there is nothing else they can do - except if I want to wear a metal brace under my teeth (sort of like a horse's bit!!). Last time it flared up I went spotty and the dentist sent me to the GP because he thought it was shingles. This could well be the same thing again!! Hopefully the antibiotics will sort it out.

I am even more convinced now that you have told me what your dentist said that this is the reason I feel so crap!!

I am off to bed. I have taken my antibiotic, 2 paracetamol and my heat pad is just going in the microwave for my poor aching stiff neck.

Swedie I keep as far away from the Eurovision song contest as I can!!

xx
me too Lottie, our house is a euro free zone!
