Hello all ,I love that clip Woofie most enjoyable .If I lived there I'd be down in the pub every night just to hear them sing!We watch Doc .Martin every time it's on.
Lottie ,I had spots round my mouth when I migrated to Australia and we lived on the migrant camp .the local doctor said it was malnutrition and he'd only ever seen it on impoverished students !
We only received one egg a week as Adults (I think children received 3 per week) So needless to say the management had to start feeding me properly ! I worked on the Migrant Hostel for 3 years and sometimes cried in the shower at night because I ached so much and couldn't raise my arms above my head .I worked like a dog but had no option at the time so when needs must ....
I'm like Jude I go away to hide when I'm stressed and can't talk to anyone .I was doing ok till early last year and I've never been right since ,if only people would think before they speak or write .Ah well if God takes you to it He'll take you through it is my mantra .
Anyway glad to hear you had nice weather and of course Mad Dogs and Englishmen Go Out in the Midday Sun !!! haha . Still it must have been a lovely change .
Saw our beautiful Greatgranddaughter today ,she's gorgeous just like a Baby Doll and she has a second name as well now ,she is Olivia Niamh( Neve!) .That's all for now folks and once agagin thanks Woofie for that clip .
Love Dolly xx
Good morning everybiddy. I am going to plant all my pots up today after a lovely day yesterday.. It was Rufford Abbey we went to not Mill as I originally said.(wrong again) We had 4 stops. First the Abbey, then The Robin Hood Centre where the Major Oak is. After that we went into Worksop for a late lunch at a Wetherspoons pub then last but not least we called in at a Garden Centre call Dobbies where we bought a few plants.to add to the3 ones I bought in Derby.
I slept like a log last night.

I definitely wont be watching the EuroSC thank you very much. Drives me nuts. Sorry if you like it Kit don't want to spoil your fun. You enjoy.

I know just how you feel too Lottie. I only wanted to talk to my sisters and brother when I went down. I was a different person talking to my friends and wouldn't tell them anything in fact I didn't really want to see them because of how I was feeling. Still I'm a lot better now thank goodness. Don't want to go down that road again. There are people with worse things than that to contend with. Some of you have physical things which I don't know how you cope with.

Anyway hope you are having good weather and your day goes well.
See yer later 'gater(s)
The3ones what am I talking about, Thought I'd be better with me new glasses. LOL
another day another dental appointment. Drains all done and we took the opportunity to put the bird feeder on a pole cemented in next to the new water tank so it's just outside the kitchen window. The birds havent spotted it yet, but it's already the talk of squirreltown. They can't get in and I don't think they'll be able to get up the pole SAS fashion and rock it so the feed falls out, as they could when it used to be on the washing line.
Morning folkies...bit fresh 'n breezy here, unlike I who is krackered from a shopping day yesterday. We were going to go out Matlock way to see some relatives but that was postponed until a later date

Jude I'll ask Tarquin (again) if he knows of your bro's band, he's into folk big time stylie & goes all over the place to see some bands. He's into Bad Shepherds http://www.thebadshepherds.com/ but moreover into Ade Edmondson & Jennifer Saunders' daughter Ella Edmondson. Since chatting to her he's besotted & stalks her up & down the country, haha...she's very good & beautiful, like her mum, she has my approval ;o)
some previews of her songs.... http://www.ellaedmond...k/preview-tracks.html

Woofy I saw Fisherman's Friends on the tele recently, they're great.

Not a bad day here and hope you are all fine and dandy .I've been to the doctor and he's referring me to the rheumatologist. In the meantime stronger painkillers so if I start rambling pay no attention .
I hope your spots soon clear up Lofty .I remember having impetigo as a child .Picked it up at school and my Mum was furious and went up the school and questioned their standards of hygiene ! .It was the equivalent of getting nits then and I had to have some sort of yellow ointment smeared over my face :)

I shan't be watching the Eurovision shreiking contest either ,I'd rather watch paint dry :)
this Lady is a coming star I reckon

Can you imagine paying money to actually stay here??? How simple it all seemed then!

...but as we were so many and lived in Eastbourne "By the seaside, beside the sea" we had no chance. Our annual holiday was a day trip to Brighton on the P>addle steamer where we children all ran amok in the engine rooms and getting chips and sweets from the sailors, a rare treat in those days.

although not in these years ^^
Question Author
Sorry, just being nostalgic!
I was always warned against accepting sweets from sailors, but things must have been laxer in Eastbourne.
I still have my doubts on the impetigo thing Shaney. How comes I get it every year in the summer. It is more like exzma to me that has got infected. I have had impetigo and it wasn't like this, much bigger blisters. These spots are more like painful little blisters and they don't itch. Oh well, who cares as long as the antibiotics and ointment get rid of them.

I am sitting here seriously thinking of ordering these. They are wide and have a footbed sole much like Birkenstocks.

I just need an opinion. I think they are really pretty.
