You don't need to "get the impression" joe-king, the rules clearly state

"Due to the high volume of posts, all editorial decisions are final, and discussion relating to the removal or editing of posts will not be entered into by the AB Editor."

No know flouted those rules by continuely harping on about a topic that Ed told him not to. He was warned, rather fairly that if he continued he'd be removed, no know decided to ignore this advice (as his his way) and waffle on anyway. No know only has himself to blame for his forced exodus from the site.

I find these regular pleas for the reinstatement of someone or other, on the grounds that the site has become boring without them, not a little insulting.

There are enough other funny and intelligent personalities left behind; ones who DO abide by rules, guidelines and instructions from the Ed.

I'd be pleased to see noknow back, but I'd also be pleased if he stuck to the rules and reigned in this dog/bone tendencies.

If he doesn't reappear, I suppose we'll just have to limp along without him..........

Hate? Nar, I don't hate him.

I disliked him from time to time it's true, especially his hounding of Poodi (amongst others), convinced she was a "troll". However posts like this are pointless. He's been removed for whatever reason Ed sees fit and that's that really. And to say the site needs him etc is ludicrous in the extreme, it ticked over very nicely before he came and im sure it will conitue to do so in his absense.

what B00 says. He was told several times in a row to shut up but he just couldn't help himself. Fortunately SAB still exists as a spiritual home for people who don't know when to shut up. As for all the moderators the site is supposed to need... who's going to pay them? Users don't pay to join, so there's not exactly a pot of cash on the Ed's desk to hire a Flouncing Moderator, let alone an Ummmm Controller.

I never said Poodi was a lovely poster did I Joe? She has her moments I agree and I think (though i could be wrong) that she herself has been warned in the poast by Ed? However you think No know harrassing her was right? Two wrongs make a right now? Interesting!

While your sticking up for him is commendable Joe, as someone has already said, it's falling on deaf ears, and we're both wasting our time on this one really. As the rules clearly state, the Eds decision is final over who statys and goes.
