Does anybody know the rest of this lullaby?

"Do You want the stars to play with?

or the moon to run away with?

They'll be yours if you don't cry"

All google has come up with is an album by a canadian indie band!!

Thanks

Mops tears up and smiles!! Thanks Neti xxxxxx
OH lottie, now I feel so bad. I was just having a rant against Spain, cos it makes my blood boil, and I still have to pay for my meds, don't start me off again
Question Author
Shaney I am so sorry. I remember what it was like when DH had the tube straight into his kidney...your whole life revolves around pee and tubes..enjoy the omelette and hooch, you deserve it.
Neti I love that new avatar.
I have had the m and s email too, also from another firm I deal with, can't remember who, also its in the paper.
You shouldn't have to pay Neti ..surely .You are over 60 ? I'm sure there's some sort of reciprocal agreement within the EU .Do you still have a British passport ?
Question Author
Neti shut up size 12....I can't get my arm into the leg of size 12 jeans(slight overstatement lol) and never have been able too...In my heyday I was more Loren than Twiggy.
And btw ..Neti ..Here ,people with thyroid probs don't pay anyway . It's an exemption .I had my thyroid meds free before I was 60 .
If I was here as a pensioner, I would not have to pay, but cos Mr n is younger and wor king I am on his contributions, so until he retires we have to pay a reduced price. Were he to stop working, we would All get it free. Spanish rules,
Ahh I see .I remember my old friend Jeannie having all this palaver here .She was older than her husband and still had to pay in spite of the fact that she was over 60 and he was still working and it affected her pension ..So it's the same but backwards really .
You can't win whichever way :)
evening all...oh shaney, I'm so sorry you've both spent so long in the hospital on a lovely day like this & still not got Mr S sorted, I can understand your exasperation, you've every right to grumble. My brother was catheterised for the last yr or so as his bladder didn't empty properly & he had infections & they talked of doing a suprapubic one but it never happened.

I didn't see any of the lovely weather this afternoon either, thanks to the headache turning into migraine, so pee po piddle bum...it's eased but not gone completely I thought I'd wander around the garden for a while but some £$%^&#+%'s having a bbq! agghh!
Hey ho, the weekend's supposed to be a good one & the mowerer came this morning & did a lovely job.
Neti I feel the same as you. I think about you all and love your friendship and anybody who has health problems gets my special thoughts. Mr S and Shaney especially after a bad day today. Lottie's idea sounds good one Shaney. Have a few hours out looking round the shops and having a nice meal.
Robi I hope your headache is easing off as well.
Neti I have 2 lovely sons I am so proud of, but I would have loved a daughter to 'worry' about and go clothes shopping with and she could keep me in fashion but I have some lovely nieces to make up for that.

I didn't know what I was going to do today and I ended up taking my top bed cover (very thick not the duvet) to a launderette to be washed and dried. It is too big for my washer. It was over the other side of Derby near where my aged Aunt and Uncle live so I left it to be done and went and spent a couple of hours with them.
The cover has been done brilliantly and I will be putting it away for the summer.
It's all quizes on the box for me tonight. Starting with Mastermind. That's if I don't sit outside doing a Sudoku. On the other side of my fence is a small car park and one of those very bright new lamp posts and it's brilliant, it lights up my whole garden. I could sit and read the paper and even have a party :~)
It's strange how i used to go out every Friday night but haven't done so for ages. I think I got a bit bored because my rock and roll friend got married and stopped going and it doesn't feel the same now. Mind you the place isn't quite as lively as it used to be. So I've heard. I still have things to look forward to though. 2 of my nieces are in a Dancing Show at The Assembly Rooms in May and I will be going to that with my sister.

Right, I'm getting a bit thirsty so I'll say I hope you all have a peaceful night and a good weekend.

See yer later 'gater(s) .
Robi just read your post.We must have been writing at the same time.I'm sorry your headache has become worse. I'm so lucky I've never had migraine. It must be very distressing and hope it goes soon for you.
P>S> I also had an email from M & S about Epsilon.
Poor Robi, I hope you are recovering. BBQ's are hateful, al that burning meat smell and burnt oil! I think other people should be banned from using their gardens. And jude, does that lamppost stay alight all night long, that is another bugbear of mine, I hate lights when I am trying to sleep! My god, I'm a whinger tonight and that's for sure.

Am off to see Swan Lake tomorrow, but haven't any posh clothes to wear, guess folk don't dress up here.
Thanks Jude...I'd have like a daughter too...a well behaved one :o)

I don't know about you neti but Mr N looks geared up...

forgot...thanks for that link jno, I didn't doubt it was real, I just wasn't too c0ck a hoop about it.
I would have liked a daughter .
Sons have no idea as to how the female mind works .
I've seen men in action when my Mum was near the end of her life ,they mean well and are very supportive with the practical stuff but when it comes to the little matters like clothes ,toiletries and underwear .etc they have no idea and little sister has to ride to the rescue .

I dread dying and my men going through my things .I would die ( twice ).... :))

(very quietly) hope you are feeling better Robi.

Nighty night all...it it time we bade goodbye to this question?
Question Author
morning all...nice morning here. Shughy is a bit quiet, hope he's not sickening for something.
Good morning All. I was woken up by my ghosthunting neighbours arriving home in the 'tractor' at 5.00 this morning. I expect they will be in bed all day catching up on some sleep. Wonder what they dream about. Whatever floats yer boat eh!! After my Mum died my Dad would say some times that she came to see him and would sit on the settee opposite him and he would say to her 'stay a bit Dot' but she just fsded away he said. That helped him and when he was in hospital for the last time he said he was lucky because he was going to see her again before any of us.

It's a lovely morning here hope it is with you. I have put my washing out and am going to my sisters in a bit for my cuppa. My brother is coming too and then he is off down to our cousin's farm to work for a few weeks. It may sound an unusual present but my sister has knitted him a jumper (not fancy - just plain) for his 50th.He's coming to collect it. It was what he asked for, bless him. I gave him some money and eveery time I see him he says' I've still got it and am looking for something special.'

Then, don't all say 'uggh not again' I'm going to watch Derby play Coventry at Pride Park. No matter whether they win or lose i will have had a good walk.

Just discovered Starlings nesting under the edge of my roof. Tried to deter them by banging the wall with my prop to no effect, they are determined little devils.

Have a good day all of you. My posts are getting longer aren't they - sorry for goinhg on ...and on....and on :~)
