A very distinctive style you've got there - and one very well suited to the subject.

Keep up the good work :-)

Lovely place and superb drawing
Thanks for sharing
I wish that was my house!
excellent

should be used for teaching history
this was the original front of the house judging by the porch
and when refurbished they might have turned it around
( made the back into the new front )

secondly when built it had a hole in the manorial roof
to let out the smoke
and when chimneys were invented - one was tacked on at the side....

very nicely delineated DTC
/ I wish that was my house!/
I lived in a Georgian villa as a child and THAT was bad enough
the back is big glass picture windows..I have seen the preliminary sketchings..

the barn on the left is a studio/office with the huge picture windows that minty refers too, the side on the lane is fairly mundane, apart from another porch. It's a little bit of an odd house as it only has three very large bedrooms en suite (apparently), but, then downstairs, there are three decent-sized reception rooms, one a study, a splendid parlor with an enormous inglenook on that main chimney, and then a good-sized kitchen and two porches, the one facing the interior that I have shown, rather nice inside.....
Its looking quite professional I must say!
