hi there Dolly maybe we should all pop over for a month to judge for ourselves...I'll do a bit of gardening to pay for my keep

oh dear, have we got a biddydemic? has it blown in from Sweden? they'll be locking us in & putting a cross on the door...hope everyone feels better soon...

son's been having a rant about caravanners who take their vans to the Lake district & then just sit in them, only going out ,(he says), to empty the chemical loo...

Kip<b/> that sounds like MIGRAINE HEADACHES (sorry didn't mean to shout ) to me ,my youngest daughter has them really makes her sick .Have you been to the Doctor about them?

Robinia<b/> you're all welcome anytime but you might be sleeping rough ! the 2 unoccupied bedrooms are full of junk .Boxes of everything one can imagine just in case it will come in handy one day ! I'm a hoarder and Mr.D will attempt now and again to smuggle something out of the house to go in the rubbish.
Anyone wants or needs magazines from 1966 onwards etc.?
Mothers Day here tomorrow I only want a card ,a cake and some flowers .(no flowers in my desert garden)

Whenever I come to the first answer on this thread, I read the name of the poem as 'Don't Quilt', which is a precept I have always tried to follow, and I can see why Robinia wanted to know more...

Morning all ..it's a bit grim here too...I am hovering by the back door wondering if it is worth pegging out or not .
I have never knitted a dog coat Robinia but I do have patterns for them.I could knit a jumper though from the amount of coat Shaney is shedding at the moment.He is off to the groomer at the end of the month .I have had to find a new one where I can stay with him.
I have been cracking up the blog ..it's brilliant ....he should write a book !
To peg or not to peg that is the question...Is it nobler to suffer running back and forth in the showers and risk outrageous fortune .... or shall I just bung it all in the drier .

Hi <a>Robinia No sorry no relations in Ruislip. Derby born and bred but with Irish ancestors County Waterford.
Well Derby are half way to Wembley. They have to play on Tuesday and win or draw. But we want a win preferably because we won today 2 - 1.Good job my neighbours are on holiday.:o)

Yes i have finished it too neti I sometimes wonder why I waste my time ..but ..I did win 25 quid in a magazine I subscribe to this week . The only problem is ..shall I buy gin or have my hair done with my winnings .

Ouch ..poor Charlie ..I always cut Shaneys nails myself .but I only cut a little bit at a time ..he gets all shaky !
I did peg out and it's all dry ! I only use the drier in real emergencies . I have had a drier for donkeys years ...Many years ago we won one in a raffle at a dinner dance held by the firm Mr S used to work for and I am now on my third one. You get used to having these mod cons !!
I don't think I will watch ESC ..I gave up years ago after Abba ....Terry Wogan gets on my wick . Miserable cow ...... I can hear you all ! I have taped Rebecca to watch ..mind you I must have watched it a hundred times already !

I have lost the will to live, Serbia and U . eefing krain??? It was dreadful. Haven't been able to watch for 20yrs and now we can get it on Sky and I see a group of strange women in trouser suits singing - I can go to the nearest bar for that, and as for Ukraine, awful. I honestly liked Sweden and Moldova, wasted all the credit on my phone for nothing. Just keep sitting there Robi no party tonight in my opinion, but have been out for dinner and supped a bottle of wine, so opinion is a bit confused.
