Have just been looking at the various sites and came across your thread. I have now been looking at your website and would like to say how thought provoking I found it. You make it sound so easy to paint in that way and the results in your gallery are wonderful. The one I particularly liked was Lonely Water.
My best wishes to you and to say how much I admire you.

Many Thanks Indeed Mctavish for your great and kind words and as with most things, it's easier said than done. Ta Muchly.
woodelf I think you and Ethel should get a room.
You never spoke a truer word woodelf.

A big smile for you.
Question Author
...with a view?...poltergeist?...Ethel's already got one (see earlier thread) and we'd probably end up fighting over who's gonna use the binoculars...no prizes for guessing the winner!
ha ha well i was only joking but I am sure you could find more interesting things to do than fighting..... anyway I am going before ethel gets here and starts telling me off for bieng rude.
That's really made me laugh.

I could tell Woodelf the things he can't see, and he could tell me the things I can't hear.
:)

Aw!...c'mon Mctavish, I must have spoken at least one...honestly....smile.
woodelf I have a question. my name is in green does your computer tell you that?
Question Author
Okay Ethel, ready when you are...smile.
You know something - talking to you tonight has really made my day. A big hug and a smile.
Question Author
Lime green actually P, but I wouldn't have known if you hadn't have told me...except by a long-winded route which would fill my head with all the unnecessary script and text values, which I can well do without...er um...did I say 'yes'....smile.
Question Author
It's a pleasure Mctavish....hugs and smiles back; and front; and sides; and oh the joy of Spring soon be upon us...all over....smile.
The joys will certainly be all over me on that nudist beach.

That is a big fat lie, actually, as I am not fit enough to get to it.
Good morning all. The sun is shining and it is warmer than freezing.

I've opened my upstairs windows for a bit, in way of celebration.

Good morning to you all. Lovely here again this morning Ethel. Yesterday evening we had the most snow we have seen this winter in North Norfolk. It came as a great surprise. It looked absolutely beautiful after the snow stopped falling last night, like a winter wonderland. The sky was full of bright stars. Fortunately we have no street lighting and can still appreciate the night skies. This morning when I woke it had all but gone.

Bea, that is a lovely article. I do wish you well wish your book.

Woodelf. I have been busy looking at the colour of winter skies. Do you remember the beautiful purples and pinks as well as the deep greys, and how the sun almost appears to be a luminous white in the sky? Do you have someone to go on walks with who can describe the colours for you?

I have to go shopping shortly. Deep sigh. Not my favourite occupation.

But nevertheless lots of smiles.
LL2 :-) Bless you. You are a star :-) Hope you have a most wonderful day today, too :-) Carry on being you- the finest apple :-)

Warmest wishes to you + to all here, Bea :-)

Hi Beatrice, I can't access your link (see my earlier thread in Technology/Missing), so could you give a brief idea of what your book is about?...smile...I also write.
Lottie, thanks for the winter sky info and yes, I remember those, but could you let me know the shadows in the snow itself...if you've still got enough there. I have someone who can describe colours, but sad smile, I aint that near any countryside anymore...without the need of expensive transport that is...hey ho, rueful smile...there's a new one Ethel!
Sorry Woodelf. The book is about all kinds of positive snippets- poems, jokes, true stories, upbeat newpaper articles, quotes + thoughts + pics( on a wide range of topics)with the aim of encouraging others to be positive no matter what challenges may come their way. Live with a long term chronic condition myself. Sorry about the link. Will try to send another link soon. Warmest wishes and good luck with all your wonderful endeavours, Bea :-)
