1241 Answers
I'm looking for a new hair styler . My old Nicky Clarke has given up .
Well ,let's say it went ..bang ,and I jumped abut a lot :)
What I want is a hot brush type thing ..not a straightener ..just one of those ones that give your hair a bit of bounce . Like a blow dry brush but electric .
Any recommendations......thank you .

Well that's kept me busy, new washing machine won't drain, it's been 5 hrs, so have opened the door got out the sopping wash (water all over the floor but it's outside so OK) and finished it by hand, then did another load by hand and attempted to fix the machine, but cannot open the pump filter and if I use force it may very likely break. Have opened the drain tube and poured in bicarb and vinegar and it bubbled; then boiled a kettle and poured that down, whoosh, water everywhere, so it is blocked, screwed it all back in the hopes that Mr N won't know I've been "at" it. Damn! At least I do have an old spin dryer so that has helped. No time for dpression !
Shaney you have been unwell for too long!

Oooh ..that bread looks lovely .I could stuff that down with some thick butter and jam !
I've tried that Woofy and Beconase (sp?) both on prescription .I've had antibiotics ,I 've packed up the fags and I'm still bunged to the gunnels .I've got a permanent slight headache above my eyes,a constant drip down the back of my throat, crackly ears and I cough and sneeze for England at times .
I expect it'll clear up for Christmas ..lol
Ooh Neti ..Noooo ....I would be a having a nervous breakdown by down if my washer went on the blink .

The only things I handwash are bras and nice knickers !
I couldn't be doing with handwashing towels and sheets etc . I'd be off to the laundrette pronto .
I don't think I've got Fibro though Robinia ..though you never know ..I looked at site about it once and I seem to have a lot of the symptoms .I just lump all my troubles under A for arthritics :)
Or A for A ... holes to it !

Me, I handwash absolutely nothing!!
I think I would have an immediate nervous breakdown if the washing machine broke down. When I think of all the handwashing I did in the 70s when we didn't have a washing machine - however, sheets and towels definitely went to the launderette.
And I don't iron either, unless Mr LL needs a proper shirt which is virtually never since he packed up work.
Funny how we all have the same symptoms - Biddysinufibromarthritis!! My back is killing me today. Somewhere a nerve is trapped - ouch, ouch, ouch.
I have just sneaked the heating on whilst Mr LL is mending things at junior's house.

Anybody in the dumps you can bend my ear any time you like after all you've put up with me for ages.
I apparently have 'Arthursitus' in my fingers I didn't know about - so the Physiotherapist tells me. She says if when I'm exercising the pain lasts a long time when I stop then that's what I've got and she says my fingers look like I have but I can't say I had any pain before I did my wrist so I don't know what to expect.
I would be lost without my washer too. It's a Bosch and it must be over 15 years old. I set it to come on at 6.30am. and uses economy 7. (cheap rate).
Now I've said that I bet it'll conk out.
Had a good day today at Live at Lunch in Nottingham. It was a young brilliant pianist who played some Debussy - a bit depressing, some Poulenc whis was familiar to me and enjoyable. the some Ravel - not the Bolero but totally exhilarating. It only lasted about 3/4 to 1 hour then we went to Bistrot Pierre for some lunch. Lovely day with my friend I go walking with regularly but haven't seen since July.
Off now for a Skype chat!! See yer later 'gater(s)

Morning bouffant buddies...bloomin chilly and breezy again, I've had enough of this already and it's only just started. Felt lousy last night and had some weird dream about children with scribble/doodles all over their shaved heads, haha.
It's no good, I'm going to have to buy a new padded jacket.. no more white linen tops this year. :(
