Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

lol at that little vid jno, if only I could do that when someone's standing faaaar too close behind me a queue...hahahaha, can you imagine their face?

Unless she's moved house Jude is definitely posting in reverse, I haven't seen the sun...?!
I've sent it to my sister, she hates neck breathers :)
good afternoon all. Neti, my days sound more random than they actually are. Shughy is restless and we've had a few flashes of lighting in the far distance but he is so much better than he has been. Anyway we are now lounging around which is nice. Once the weather really has moved on, I will shower and then start my day again for the third time. I love that vid...such a sweet face then the demon behaviour.
is it a dog or a fox? I can't tell.

I hide my caller id on new phone and for the life of me couldn't get it back, so beggared it up had to go back to the shop for the chappie to change the language so that he could do it! I had a pointer mouse scribbling with every move and a huge graph thing at the top, he got rid of those, but not the caller id, so I've been on youtube and learned how to do it.

Mr N still out , hija still in bed, (she got in at 5.45) so am loving this quiet time all to myself although I had better do the ironing!
Robi I really saw the sun honest. Maybe not for too long but my washing is still out. Don't understand the reverse bit - perhaps it was because I missed out the 'morning' in my first post..It's this rubbish space.
Still waiting for my car man to ring and tell me my car is ready and has passed it's MOT...
A new word of us, biddies!!!

Haha ..That's very good Neti .I do like the cat and dog ones too. I wish I could move my neck around like that .That would confuse them in Morrisons .
We trailed into town and dined in style at Burger King 'cos we had a Bogof voucher .Two bites and it was gone .I'm sure their burgers were bigger years ago .
Bought a few bits in Savers and some peaches and cherries on the market and trailed back .It's really muggy and clammy here now but the sun is trying to get out .
Hahaha...lol...that's me now. Only done a bit of snipping and I'm whacked.
Mr N prefers Burger King to the other chains, not that we've been for years. Says the chips are real (or they were once!)

I've done the ironing, hija is stirring and Mr N has returned. So I had the obligatory siesta and will make Thai chicken, peanut and pot curry, pad Thai noodles and rice a bit later.
ooo peanut curry, sounds yummy. I love chicken with satay sauce. Its turned very muggy here. The dogs have got huge long chews and are in heaven.
Thai all cooked, eaten and washed up, floor swept and mopped, washing up all dried and put away, me showered, ahhhh:

And bless hija she has printed off all the the Ryanair boarding passes (I have an absolute horror of doing this as you only get 2 attempts and thn have to go to My bookings again, and out printer does them too small), she manages thank heavens, it's been worrying me at night!
oight oight my lovelies, sleep well
Indigestion again! Must be the Thai food.

Morning all
Bit foggy out there ..like me .
Just having my cuppa and some tst .Off to the market shortly .
You need some Gaviscon Neti .
good morning. fed up fed up. I have done something to my back on the opposite side to the knee I hurt going knee deep in a mud hole. I am staggering around using a walking stick and living on painkillers. The dogs are being very good.
Good morning.

Oh dear woofy, hope you can manage to get around the house at least. Do get well quickly, is htere anyhting you can do?

Yes shaney Is Gaviscon liquid? Don't know if it's available over here, so will bring some back from UK.

Rained here overnight, apparently in San An (opp side of the island to us ) had a thunder and lightning storm, we just had the rain and I didn't know until I read it on FB and went to check.
Just went to the kitchen to make a cuppa the place is heaving with ants, hija left a plate of uneaten food on the counter, and the little blighters were coming in through an outside pipe, I have sprayed and cleaned, and they have gone I think. They also come in when it is raining :-(

Lawd knows what state my house will be in when I get back from England!!
oh, poor woofy, can the dogs bring you a nice cup of tea and biscuits? It's the least they owe you.

neti, the news that you will be out of town is already going round the ant world and some of them seem really pleased

you can get gaviscon liquid and tablets. The strongest gaviscon is gaviscon advance but that is only on liquid form. I hurt my back around 20 years ago scooping a kid who had fallen off his bike out of the middle of the road. Since then it plays up occasionally. I've been walking funny recently after I fell in the forest (did I mention that? managed to find a patch of knee deep mud in the dryest August for years and ended up kneeling in the ground with one leg stuck and the dogs thinking it was a huge joke.) A couple of days rest and Sqad's remedy will sort it but its bloody inconvenient.
Anyway its not serious, I just wanted a quick moan.
