Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Hi jude sorry about the footy :o(

Didn't see qom's thread but I would be a terrible meddling inferring old m-i-law. And heaven help the sod who hit her. She did have one horrible boyfriend in Barca, It started off OK but from what she told me I could see it coming, she couldn't! but when he started being possessive and nasty and threatening to kick in her windows, well then I stepped in, not to him, but I told her it wouldn't get any better, and would lead to violence (having been there myself) I went against all advice, and luckily she listened to me and came back here to get away from him. Yes I would step in all the time, not if they were little tiffs and spats, but if I could see nastiness.
we don't have wheelie bins so with us its planning permission and dog poo
not gonna comment neti because I don't want this thread pulled but it was nothing you'd feel the need to get involved in.

Morning all
Nice day here so far .Hope you're all ok .The weather looks to be warm next week Neti ,so pack your sarong .You can wear it with your wellies if it rains :)
Good morning.

Gosh we have only just woken up, still nothing to do today, so no rushing.

I had better get my holiday head on and sort out what I need to take, inc. all my pills!
Morning alll....zzzzzz. Computer says the time is 02.08, no wonder I'm tired.
I had a crip night's sleep, I think I went through the entire A-Z of the medical encycloppidee, tut. Actually it was thankfully nothing drastic, just a bit of a lot of things. So today I am having a relaxing day. I keep saying that and then I find things to do and I think my body rebels when it's had too much.

Sunny and breezy and yes, looks like you're bringing the warm weather with you neti but compared to your temperatures I think it will still feel cooler for you.
good morning, feeling better than I did but still not ready to run the marathon. I might get upstairs and shower today though which will be an improvement. Weather pleasant, cool and sunny. There is a delicate but pervasive smell of incense in the garden, the church kind not joss sticks, I should know what plant smells like this but can't remember.
sweet cicely woofy? I had a beautiful big plant and it had a lovely fragrance but I always thought it was more like soap powder than anything else.
I bet you're looking forward to doing a tour of the garden centres eh neti?
might be Robi, I have got it, but when I brush against it the smell is more aniseedy
I love the smell of the olearia on a warm day, it's been lovely this year but it's gone over now.
that looks interesting....which one have you got Neti?

My soapwort is smelling delicious now. Earlier in the year I had to kinds of honeysuckle, the sweet garden kind and a wild one that smells of nutmeg. In January, the mimosa is lovely and scents the whole area, not just my garden, then the wild cherry kicks in. I love scented plants, have got a winter honeysuckle too.
yes I love anything scented in the garden but I find elderberry and some lilies too heady.... lol I bet neti has them all but I've got the haastii, evergreen, nothing invades it and you can prune it back if you need to.
B**dy gardening again and again and again!!!!

Had lovely day we all 3 went to the beach for a frolic, then to the Pata Negra for a lovely lunch, am stuffed. Hija's gone to work, I've done the washing, have swam in pool and showered now back in the cool bedroom, ah heavens, with a cuppa.
I keep falling asleep...no idea why.
pretty dull day here but quite warm. No frolics. No soapwort. No incense. Just the usual suburban blah, really.

I hope this post doesn't make anyone jealous.
