Eyebrow threading

Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Mr N had to go down our lane and kill 4 of those tiger spiders, hija knew exactly where everyone was, I had been merrily walking my way past them.

Must shift my bones and get the suitcases ready.

Morning all...warm and hopefully calmer today, I hate the wind howling and whistling, even if it's a mild one. Hopefully it'll mean my sinuses will be calmer too, apart from Law and Order (the last one) all I managed to watch yesterday was the inside of my eyelids, I had a blinding headache.
When I went to feed the birds earlier a spider had made a web right across the entire width of the patio...how do they do that? Anyway I walked round it but what's the betting I forget at some point today?

Our old blood clinic at the hospital used to have a funny drawing and 'Dracula's cave' on the door...but in these nanny state days of no sense of humour/must do things correctly that's all gone.

good morning again, tis bright and cool here and so far so good, back continues to improve. I am at the dodgy stage now, feeling able to do more, bored and frustrated by the mess and must seriously restrain myself from pitching in and sorting everything which, i know will result in agony tomorrow. heigh ho, so long as the Queen doesn't take it into her head to call round for tea we should be fine.

Gave Sis a scare yesterday, she texted me a few times over a two hour period and I didn't answer because I was flaked out asleep, she feared the worst and was about to phone my neighbour who has the key to come up and check on me...when I pointed out that she could have phoned me she went "Oh yes, i never thought of that...." I think she worries about me more than she lets on.

Very warm here as I mooched back down the High St where I bought a steak bake from Greggs and it was lovely. .Don't tell the food snobs :)

shaney you needed the protein after your blood donation :). Is a Greggs steak bake to be frowned on then? Lawdy I'll have to start wearing a mac and dark glasses to go into Iceland next.

lol, my sister never replies to my emails but she does reply to texts as and when she can. My friend over the road gets a bit worried if I don't reply to her texts or phone calls ....yes, we phone each other, even though bean cans and string would do the job...it's ok, we're on package deals, no charge as long as we shut up within the hour. :)

I really should take my mobi phone with me when I'm in the garden. If I fell or collapsed any further than half way down it the neighbours wouldn't see me from their upstairs windows. If they did they'd probably just think I was worm charming anyway....again.

well I won't be going far today, I had to put more weight in my injured (fell down in the forest) knee because my back hurt...back is getting better but knee is complaining now...fed up fed up. I want to go out and I want to garden.
