Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Lol Robinia ..theres nothing worse than a funny whiff under your nose .
It's the drains here atm .I'm going through loads of Jeyes .It's not just me though it's a general pong in the air when the wind's in the wrong direction .
There's an awful stink near Morrisons, which is by the river from something or other and also from the loos on the sea front .The water people are looking into it .
Hope you're all fine and dandy on this lovely sunny day .

I'm putting chocolate and condensed milk on my shopping list :)
I am another one getting my highlights for free, I look nicely blonde at the mo but am teetering on the brink. Knee still screaming, Fed up with being 60.

Just having eyebrows dyed.
are you going to have your nostrils waxed???
Very pleased with the result and the price. It is almost the silver that I wanted, but will go blonder in the sun so will wear a hat for the next 2 days. I do attend to my nostril hair, I do not have much but cannot stand it, and have a special machine which sorts it out, and use tweezers for the odd hair, which bloody well hurts if you get the skin by mistake. It's a bit shorter than I asked for but that's par for the course with hairdressers isn't it!
Mr N is peeved, he saw the trauma surgeon about his knee and he said that Mr N was too young for an op (he had one 3 yrs ago) and that it was to be expected as his bones were getting old! To take ibroprofen and go again next April, whereupon Mr N explained how damned painful it was, so the surgeon injected the knee, and that is that! Not a happy bunny!
I should think not!
I should think not either...it's that old chestnut 'it's getting older that causes it...but you're not old enough for us to do anything yet'. It's the same if you have an 'algia...they say pretty much all aches and pains are because of that. How convenient.

lol woofy, I haven't been cock-a-hoop since I turned about 35 but I looked at the calendar and realised it's the 29th(!) anniversary of walking onto a hospital ward and staring hell in the face for what felt like an eternity...so suddenly I don't feel quite so bad.
Done a short stint in the garden...it's dull but very warm.
Robi, that has to be worth celebrating. I was just having a whinge this morning...I am fed up with not being able to do things.

Do we call you the silver fox now Neti ?.. :)
I can sympathise with Mr N ..my knees are shot and they do nothing about it ..just tell me it's getting worse .I've had them both washed out and jabbed from time to time but it's all wearing off now .Mind you if he's had a cortisone jab it will help for a good while .
It's been a glorious warm sunny day and I've spent most of the afternoon working really hard in the garden turning the pages of my book while I watched a mouse run back and forth across the grass.
Well done Robinia ..KBO :)
I hope it keeps nice 'cos we're hoping to go down to the beach tomorrow to see the oldest catalina seaplane Miss Pick Up fly over .She's 70 years old .

I know, I wish I could do a whole day in the garden instead of 10 mins on, 15 mins off....I'd like to be celebrating with a eurolotto win tonight :)

Yes Robi that 29th must have been awful, brave you for coming through the other side! That is the thing I dread most of all and alzheimers (forgot for a min how to spell it Oooops!)

We've just been warned that it is going to get hotter this week, thank heavens I am leaving on a jet plane (oops sorry).

Bought a smashing top today, it's sort of blouson (was gonna say blousey but changed my mind) plain black, one sleeve to the elbow and just a strap int he other shoulder, come down to bottom when bloused! Oh I'll knock 'em dead!!!!
Well hang on shaney if you spot Ryanair flying to Stansted on Friday at about 7pm I'll be nearly 70 so you can spot me!
Aw woofy, have just watched "The Bishop's wife" which you suggested - lovely film, ooh and I think I'm a bit in love with Cary Grant.
huge golden harvest moon rising here, that must be a sign of something.
