Eyebrow threading

Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Too warm here for my liking - rashes all over the place!! But I am sure a bit of wild shopping will soon make me forget it!

Mr N has gone :o( strangely I miss him atm! but shopping will also clear that!

Going to a seaside revue show tomorrow, we are taking our older (elder, eldest, oldest???) sister with us so gentle humour should suit her.

Had a family meal last night we 3 sisters and Mr N, then we watched Easties and he didn't.

Waiting in for the mail as sissy is expecting an important covenant (posted 27th Aug first class and still hasn't arrived!!!) something fishy here methinks.

Hope you all have a nice day, have to admit that my joints and toes are so bad here, I struggle to get up the stairs and can't crouch down cos cannot get up! Do not like it!

Don't mention fishy....I don't think it's too warm but the world is fast becoming too mucky and smelly a place for a fragrant biddy to live in. I admit a good hard downpour would freshen things up but what happened to the days when shops swept/swilled their frontages before they opened in a morning? tut...no pride anymore...and some people themselves are just as bad. I know a small minority might have problems but for the rest how much effort does it take? I bet they sell shower gel for 10p at Didldidi ....grrrrr

It's been a lovely day here .I've been really lazy and just fiddled around outside but mostly read a book when I wasn't resting my eyelids ..
Tomorrow looks like the last gasp of really warm weather ,things seem to start going downhill a bit from the weekend .
We do need some rain though ,everything is bone dry here .All the grass verges and park are brown and dusty .Even the the trees look dusty .But I'm not climbing them with my tickling stick :)
Hope you've all had a pleasant day apart from nasty niffs .You'll have to start carrying a pomander Robinia .

supposed to be nice tomorrow so we plan a river cruise to the Thames Barrier on cousin's last day visiting before she shoots off to Italy. It's meant to be good on Thursday as well, then fall off a cliff. neti will be singing in the rain.

Good morning from me too...glorious again which is just as well as I need a boost this morning.....Have you any idea how wet a glass of water is?!! Yes, I did it again, at bedtime, grrrrr. I knocked a glass full of water flying across 4 handbags, three of them open at the top and all of them with some 'clutter' in the bottom.
Note to self: Put handbags away, do not lean them up against the bedside drawers. Keep them uncluttered.
Sorry shaney, no, you can't take some of them off my hands :)

Enjoy the weather if it suits you...otherwise keep cool. Yes jno, tomorrow's not looking as bad as they forecast earlier in the week.

I had some wonky dreams. The usual reason: too hot. It warmed up during the night so the right amount of covering at 1am was too warm by 8am.

That's as bad as my little cartons of drink which I've been taking up .I put the straw in one and then squeezed and it came up the straw and went all down my jarmies.
I'm going to have a change of scenery today and go and sit in my brothers garden this afternoon. Pip pip for now.
