Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

The weathers hanging on by the skin of it's clouds, wish the mowerer would hurry up
That sounds like my dream life too jno, I'd try really hard not to tire of it.

that must be your official birthday then woofy...I would say I feel about a week younger than this person but it's possible she feels livelier than I do.... http://www.irishtimes.com/news/world/asia-pacific/china-s-alimihan-seyiti-127-claimed-as-world-s-oldest-woman-1.1495350
Hello Everybiddy I'm home again and sorted the washing and filled my fridge and freezer up.
Caught up with your posts and hope aches and pains are lessening and that Mr S. is doing alright Shaney. I hope it was just a blip.
I'm all set now for the Autumn/Winter walks. Went to Go.Outdoors and got some walking trousers (they don't literally of course) and a folder away rain jacket which I bet I'll need Robi's rain has gone and it's scything down now.
I'm back to School again this week. I've quite missed it through the Summer holidays.
I'm also having a bit of a contre-temps with Derby City Streetpride because of the disgraceful job the contractors have done with re-surfacing our close. Just waiting for the Councillor to contact me. He has copies of my emails etc and says he will be in touch to discuss the matter. It has terrible piddles (puddles - that was meant to be but who knows.) it isn't finished off in the gutter and the gullies and drains haven't been sorted like they told me were going to be.
That's my rant for now.
It's good to be in touch again. Off now to watch the end of Countdown
Laters 'gaters
Oooh, don't mention the highways Jude. Some years ago we had our road completely dug out and resurfaced, it caused a lot of disruption and now we're left with lakes all over the place every time it rains..there's one outside my house. All this modern technology and they can't make a gutter that runs into a drain, tut. I think they did it to stop me gossiping over the gate. Oh and the following year they dug trenches in it to redo the water pipes.

lol woofy, yes, spray-on pashmina would be nice, or silk for formal affairs. Went to an exhibition on Shakespeare in London this pm and it had an explanation about how jigs were the standard way of ending Elizabethan performances, including tragedies, so my grumble about the jig after Macbeth was misinformed, however stupid it looked.

Still wet here and cool too. I take it that whirlwind that just whooshed past was Jude?
Bought some new bedding, white with black flowers and curtains to match and black valance sheets wow! No idea what Mr N will think about it. Trying to get box packed, got xmas crackers today. loads of Street . Am starting a cold.
Quality street that should be.
Hi again. Neti I think you and me both have been dashing about today. I've done now and am going to watch UC.
Your road resurfacing job sounds just like, mine Robi. Mr. RB. hasn't been in touch yet. I'm not holding my breath either.
A quick wave to Jno in passing :)
Oight oight all sleeptight.
Hello all, Sis here, safely we have done out usual marathon gossip....exhausted now, oight oight
Morning all....I'd like some spray on fleece, it's very cool and I've got a thundery, dizzy head, I'm just waiting for my stemetil to kick in. It could be because I ran the heating through a couple of times yesterday just to take the chill off.

This might sound daft but did I hear somewhere there are restrictions about taking xmas crackers on planes?
seems to depend on the airline

http://www.london-luton.co.uk/en/faq/10/18/can-i-take-christmas-crackers-with-me-on-my-flight.html

(Those are just the cheap ones that fly to Luton, plus it's a few years old.)

I suppose staff don't want to waste time having to hoover up bad jokes.
Yes one is not supposed to take crackers on airplanes, so I bung mine in the freight box which is almost full, just have to buy a 3-in-1 kingsize duvet to top it off with. Bad cold here, eyes are streaming, got it off the twins when I first arrived I guess. Still one must remain stoic whilst there is shopping to be done! Sister is busy selling her london flat and buying a small retreat in Rottingdean nr Brighton. I've no idea why?

Hope you are hale and hearty me biddie mates ahoy!

Morning all
I'd like a spray on new body please.Am definitely not hale and hearty .
Hope you're all ok though .It's dull ,cool and windy, with intermittent drizzle .It sloshed down all night ,clapped with thunder and I had a rotten night and feel all agimatated this morning .
I dread having to put the heating on .I feel like a dried prune by the time spring rolls around .
oh dear, my eyes... I have only just realised that my packet of wet toilet tissues is actually... well, toilet tissues. For the toilet, not the user. It even says in the tiny print "not for personal use" but it was only today with the sun out that I was able to read it. I thought the name was just a euphemism.

Still no date for my eyes to be fixed, either; I'll be lucky if it's this year.
Question Author
You probably will wait Jno.My bro has a growth inside his lower eyelid ( non malignant ) and it's aggravating him. It's taken them three months to find out what it actually is .Some long name I can't remember and he now has an appt to have it removed in ......January !
I have trouble with small print even with my top of the range very bldy expensive glasses. I keep a little magnifying glass in my bag for when I'm shopping .
Gosh, spend nearly £400 this morning and not a lot to show for it.
Oh no jno, please tell me you haven't freshened up with parazone?!
Question Author
It's very grim out there .Really chilly and autumnal. I didn't want to go out but Mr S was pulling a face ....no newspaper etc .
He's still under the weather ,griping with aches and pains .Of course I don't have any pains ...nooo, not a one ...lol..typical man .I suggested he goes to the doctor but stubborn is as stubborn does so he'll have to put up with it and grit his teeth like I do !
Four hundred notes Neti ? Blimey ...is there anything left to buy in Eastbourne :)
The plane will be tilting sideways .
That's on top of the £1,200 I have already spent, not much left now. :0(

Glad your sister is with you woofy.

Please any gardeners here, can you tell sister what this weed is, it is popping up all over the lawn?
Question Author
It looks a bit like a larkspur to me Neti ...but that's not a weed .
Perhaps it's an offshoot from Jnos lawn that has travelled south :)
