Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

ooh jno, silly intit? You nick your finger on the woman's weekly and it bleeds for three hours but try and find some blood and it's all dried up. Funnily enough I'm ok with the needle bit it's the plastic syringe part that gives me the heebie jeebies...just association I suppose. I don't look.

Had a big fox in the garden a while ago, bold as you like.
Sis has a lovely fox visit every evening, we do feed it scotch eggs. It looks into the Windows and scarpets if we move, it is so sweet.

Big box has gone, taken by a big UPS man. Lots of storms in Ibiza. Flooded.
If you bleed when you get a paper cut from the Woman's Weekly, do not use it for smacking on the bottom.
Good Evening Each. I've had that many bloody blood testsI'm so used to them they don't bother me. I know it can't be very nice if they do.
I've had a luckday today. Icutboth my lawns at the back and dug the garden at the side of my housewhereI keep4rubbish bins.1 Brown 2 Blue and 1black.
I haven'tsorted my space bar out yet as you can see.Anyone any suggestions apart from me dunking it in a bowl of soapy water.
I've also had ajoint of roast pork for my dinner. Ithadbeen in my freezer for agesand I just fancied it so I took it out last night to defrost and really enjoyed it today. I used to do it for my Dad on a Sunday sometimes. He paidme a realcompliment one day saying I was the only one in the family who cookedlike my Mum.
I'm going to read The Great Gatsby tonight. I've been meaning to do it since Steadier said it was a favourite book of his if not THE favourite. I have to look for an unuasual word in it. I can't remember what it is but Steadier says I'll know it when I see it.
I hope you all have a good night.
Shaney is Mr. S. ok now? I hope so.
Laters 'gaters
Well Jude I wish I had half your stamina...I take it you did that before the rain, it's been on for hrs, well it has on my road...It's dire, barely in double figures, I've got several layers of clothes on and the heating is bumped up.
Desolate of Derby.
happy reading, Jude... it's quite short, took me less time to read it than to watch Robert Redford and Mia Farrow, as I recall.
hello all, had a lovely busy day with lunch out now exhausted...night....
jno, a tip to make veins easier to find as well as the keeping warm thing is to make sure you are well hydrated.
on which note, oight oight all.
ah, thanks for that, woofgang. It's not a fasting test, so maybe I should make it a drinking test.
Morning eyebrow plaiters....cool and cloudy, the forecast had better be right or I'll be sending a parcel of wet washing to the met office with a very shirty letter.

I loved the Great Gatsby film, I think I've got the book somewhere but I can't remember whether I actually read it. It's free to download onto kindle if I can't find it so I might give it a whirl too.

Good luck jno, I'd offer you a drop of mine but I wouldn't want them to be sending someone round to you with a tape measure.

Hope you're all ok this morning .
Mr S is Ok thank you Jude .Hope you enjoy TGG.. not my sort of thing but I did read it years ago .
There was a bit on the One Show that was really funny .It was about people saying that they had read certain books when in reality they hadn't .They were just trying to keep up with those who had or trying to make themselves look clever .
They had a pretend book called The Valleys by Alex Jones and asked people if they had read it .One woman waxed lyrical over this book and the author and her face was a picture when the reporter told her it didn't really exist .Lol...
lol shaney, I think that happens all the time...a lot of them are probably reading the latest bonkbuster or hello magazine.
Robinia - reading the Bunty :)

I was thinking about the same re the weather, the washing's just hanging in the still, damp air...I'm going to end up out there with hairdryer if it doesn't liven up.

Question Author
It was so funny ..she even said she had read all her other books .haha..

I've put washing out and it's just hanging there.I wish now I'd done a load yesterday instead but I thought it might rain .It didn't of course ,sod's law but it was really windy and I would have got it all dry.Bggr.
The Valleys? Loved them all. The Kings, The Dolls, The Shadow of Death.

Question Author

I keep pottering in and out .Pity it's not going to last ,rain tomorrow according to Inaccuweather :(
And ..I have to go out tomorrow and buy a chicken .I ordered myself one of those old fashioned roasters which came today .Remember those ?
I have these bright ideas at times ...lol.
had my blood test, no probs at all at the hospital, they're a great pair of ladies there. But I missed my bus stop and had to walk back quite a way and was surprised at how cosmopolitan it's become at the back end of the high street - not just a Polish supermarket but a Brazilian one as well, and a Philippines one too, plus all sort of odd smaller shops and restaurants. I can imagine some ABers bursting a blood vessel if they ever saw it. Fortunately I am made of sterner stuff, and anyway I've given enough blood for one day.
Well done jno, hope the results are good.

Shaney, buy a ready roasted chuck from the supermarket, lol. I've forgotten how to cook, I hope Ozzy's booked himself plenty of dinners with his friends and family next week. He's told me he'll be 'in and out a lot' so translated I took it as 'don't hold me to any plans' . I think I'll need a revolving door.
The sun doesn't half move quickly at this time of year, I'm going to me sitting on top of the hedge with the sparras in a minute, tut.
