Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

The one that was pulled down for the motorway that wasn't and now might be again.

I though there were no photos of it but a cousin found it for me. Probably taken by Dad, he was a keen photographer.

Just the top storey was ours, two bedrooms and a living room, each with two beds in, so the dining room/kitchen was the real living room as it faced the sun. Waaay too small, that's why we moved to the brick house.
That is so sweet jno. fancy having a balcony, I would have loved one as a kid. I had to share with my sisters sometimes as Mum decided to do B&B, we had to gently sweep the crumbs from the tables into little pans, I just whooshed the lot onto the floor, she didn't ask me again!
Hydrangea (yes had to look up the spelling!) My dad had so many of those in one of the houses ( that won't come up), they overflowed onto the pavements and he was always being asked to cut them back.

I love that dear little house Jno and Neti's posh palaces .
My Mum did B&B and we had to hoof it in the back kitchen and I had to share a bedroom with my Mum. My Dad was mostly away at sea and my brothers were ,one married and the others ,one in the army and one doing national service .My sister was married too ,so that left me to lug the jugs of hot water up and down stairs and do other odd jobs for mother .We did have some lovely people staying though and I got spoilt a bit as I was such an angelic child :0)....hahaa.
I've felt as rough as a bears backside all day with this crampy tum so am orf to my bed ...Oight oight ,sleep toight .

Oight oight all.
sniffle sniffel

atishoo

Who am I kidding, it's not atishoo it's AHCHHA AHCHHA AHCHHAA and I'm surprised the neighbours aren't complaining.
Am waiting down the road to pay hija"s taxi , quite chilly.
good morning, hija finally arrived, the taxi driver was a bit nervous cos she had no money and was relieved to see me standing there.

Well shaney the houses weren't all that posh, just different. We did have oil paintings, and shabby furniture. I have to admit I loved my friends council houses, all neat and modern with new modern furniture. Our scullery had stone flagged floor, very cold.
morning all, its a beautiful autumn day here. We went out early and I am now enjoying an iced coffee. Jno please atcha in the other direction. Hope you and Robi are feeling better today Shaney. Neti, your Hija is lucky to have you for a Mum.
Waving to Lottie and Vinny. Might do some bulb planting today.
Had to wait in this am to make sure that hija got to work, so she ate scrambled eggs (rather as I forgot them) bacon, and toast, orange juice and coffee.

The taxi fare was her own money, which I was holding for her woofy and it's just because they do not know where we live and refuse to go up the little lane,

Mr N decided to go shopping in the specialist spice shop without telling me and he has returned with a load of unnecessary stuff, but none of the stuff I need for meals! I was annoyed!
I was talking about the waiting up Neti. :-)
I wasn't waiting up woofy, I was fast asleep and woken by a slurred phone call, which set me in action!!
