Eyebrow threading

Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Hello all, here I is, still feeling the comedown after a whirlwind week.
I've been catching up on your ramblings, lol... ducks ....erm, contributions. You've had some lovely houses. I can't post a pic of my first home because the are no photos and it no longer exists, it's flats now.
It was the end terraced house with a walled garden which seemed like castle walls to me but I suppose they were about 6ft. There was a corner shop nearby and their little girl locked me in the back yard one day which probably led to my fear of being shut in, haha. I hope her curly hair is grey and wispy now, tut. If you're 60ish and your name is Jane - I haven't forgotten!!
Horrible grey damp day, but slowly brightening, yesterday was glorious and very warm. Tarquin has jetted off to the land of a million choccies to attend the same expo as Ozzy, they're hoping to meet up but it's a huge event. They're looking to spend squillions on new machinery or sommink....I have a problem choosing a new electric kettle, ha. It's strange they're so different but do a very similar job, they've done well, I'm a proud stick. :)
Hope you feel better shaney, I'm aching like hell from the waist down & it's affecting my digestion too....six more weeks of sunshine would help. In the meantime I've got a big bottle of metatone, hoping it works miracles, it still tastes the same.

I was going to the gym ,then swim twenty lengths followed by a brisk cycle ride but decided to flop on the settee for most of the day as I feel like something the cat's brought in and refused to eat .What a load of old squit there is on daytime teevee.My stomach won't settle .I feel as as if I've eaten a brick when in fact all I've had is tea ,toast and soup.

Today i have walked the dogs, done some housework that included stairs and walked around tesco. This is the equivalent of a triathlon. I am celebrating with champagne and half a punnet of genuine greengages. It would have been a whole punnet but the dogs like greengages.

Well done you for getting upstairs. Funny you mention ed greengages, when I was over there sister bought some and that's the first time is 40+ yrs I've eaten them, they were too sweet for my liking, I like a tinge of sharpness.

Hi all. I'm home again after aday out in Nottingham. This is the lady we went to see. She sang some brilliant classics.Fast and slow. And could she scat. Brilliant!
I hope you feel better soon Robi and like Neti says it wouldbe good if the Bros manage to meet up.
And Jno. Hope you stop sneeezing and splettering soon.
Yes Shaneys there is some crip on daytime telly. My doesn't go on very often.Perhaps in the morning when I'm getting up but then it's usually switched over to BBC 2 and at night I'm a bit selective. Like tonight Man U.v Liverpool :-)
Derby are away to Nottingham Forest on Saturday and if it's anything like their last Saturday we're goin to lose.
Neti I remember getting up to take Steady to work before I had to go to work for ages before he got his motor bike on the road. Even when he had a car taxied him places sometimes. So I know how and why you look after Hija like you do.

Just had my spanish phone unlocked to any sim, they couldn't do it in England! so now we have a spare if and when hija loses hers yet again.
Very sticky here, am making a meat and pot and mushroom pie.
Fell so tired in the afternoons, hoping it's the ole thyroid, which needs revising next month! Hate having no energy, although I cewrtainly have enough in the monings!
Woofy your poor knee. Mr N's has improved vastly and he's playing golf again. I honestly thin the air con didn't help even though it was on high and very cold. I noticed that all my bones used to ache when I got up when it was on, now we just have the ceiling fan and we are both improved.

We're all getting aches and pains again aren't we. Hope they're not too bad and clear up soon. I've got aching hands 'arferitis' - I bet it is and I've got a knee that hurts every time I go up stairs. It makes me flinch...come on someone please tell me what it is I haven't had it before. Not that I'm too worried. I think it's basically an age thing.
I've had a sorting out day today. I've gone through my files, and bank statement etc and destroyed most of the pre 2012 stuff it went back to about 2000! I don't have big shredder so I've ripped it up and now I'm soaking it in water in a bucket in the garden then I'll bin the 'mush'.
It's been a lovely day here so I cut the front grass. I wonder if that's the last time this year.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I'm going to Nottingham again to watch The Halle Orchestra rehearse would you believe.

Oh dear jude, not you also with an achey knee!!! Mine plays up occasionally especially when doing stairs, started in 2000, but it rarely bothers me, painful when it's playing up, and I now have to hurtle up the stairs and that stops it from hurting, if out with family, I either have to nip up the stairs first or wait until they are clear and the belt up, it works!!
I can give you chapter and verse on arthritis if you've got a couple of hours :)

But ,what can't be cured must be endured as mother used to say .
I still feel ropey .I think it's just an IBS attack .
