Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Really really did not want to cook, but defrosted a couple of chicken breasts, and made a sauce with orange juice, water and onion soup and bunged in a packet of frozen med veg, boiled some pots with skins on, buttered them and it was OK.
I had some plums and apples lying around so I cut them up and stuck them in the oven with cinnamon and maple syrup.....pretty good
Oh lovely woofy except for the cinnamon!! Love plums.

Just cruising by to say goodnight .Long day really .It got out lovely this afternoon .Got lots of goodies at the market including a kipper which I'm going to have for brekkie tomorrow .I got a big bag of plums Woofy .I'm going to cook and freeze them for crumbles .
Had a nice evening ,my friend and her husband and the dogs came round and we had a few drinks and played cards .They've not long gone and it's time I was gone up the dancers .
Oight Oight lovelies .Sleep toight .
had a nice day at London Open House Weekend, looked at the queue for the Gherkin (about 500 yards long) and decided not to but went in some little city churches that are usually closed. Then came home and went to our nice German neighbours' place for a little dinner party. The main drink was... some sort of refortified Normandy cidre... ash far ash I can remember.

More open houses today as we are booked into Lancaster House and then the Oriental Club in the afternoon.

A musical friend sent me the link, just to prove singing isn't as easy as it looks

Morning all. What on earth happened on AB last night? Lots of answers removed from one of my threads and none of them was bad.

Lovely that clip jno, her voice didn't falter, brilliant.

Hope to go on the beach again today but no sure if Mr N really wants to go, so it'll be a lunch somewhere.

I really must start to cut back on all the goodies that I am stuffing, I really look as though I have eaten all the pies............
brilliant clip jno! Which thread Neti? We had a foggy start to the day here. Dogs are dozing, Open House in London sounds brilliant. Maybe I"ll get there next year, sis has said she will dog sit if ever I want a day out.

The North Sea is very blue .

I've eaten my kipper and frozen some plums .
That's a good clip Jno....she hardly drew breath ! I do envy you going round all those churches .They have heritage open days here this month but I've been to most of them already and climbing up and down tiny little staircases in row houses is no good for my knees these days.
Hope you're all well .
Downton's back tonight ...yippee.
Back from the beach and a lunch on another beach, I had entrecote steak which was a bit tough!

Oh woofy, we will defo have a day out in London next year, I meant to this year but impossible with Mr N being there. I'll be there in June. Trouble is my sis will insist on coming too!

Am all showered, hairwashed and washing on, hate seawater on anything! Then I will flop even though I only had one glass of Rose!
Lancaster House v lavish and they said they'd just filmed some bits of the next Downton Abbey Xmas special there so I may watch out for it (it'll probably be only a few seconds, of course).
Oh lovely jno, will look out for you peeping up from the Servants quarters!!

Just watched a film called "Good ol' Freda" it's aboout the Beatles secretary who worked for them and Epstein for 11yrs, it was really good.

I take it you didn't queue for Battersea power station then Jno :)
Blimey .....
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-24193960
I used to live near there. That queue is along the Embankment in Battersea park.
I queued for about 3 hours once to get into St Pancras station hotel (long before they refurbed it) but I don't really like it as my feet have got older, so I don't bother with the really popular places these days. I was tempted by the Gherkin. But there were huge queues outside the old NatWest tower and Lloyds of London as well, both quite close. People really do turn out for these weekends. But I couldn't see the point of Battersea, there's nothing inside it, it's just people being sentimental, I think. It's not even been in Downton.
My sister was one of the very last to leave Battersea Power Station as she was the wages clerk.
my neighbour at the time used to work there. When it closed he was in one of the gangs that did the mothballing. He told us about the amazing tiled floor but i think it was removed....not even sure if people valued such things then.
I can't see it on Google Earth, woofgang
I just had a look, that's so sad and desolate now.
I did enjoy Downton.
Jni, I beg to differ, but Battersea Power Station is a British Icon.
