Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

Sorry it' a quick good morning and have a good day all. Off out to my usually Tuesday 'gadabout'. Tai Chi then I have to take a pair of jeans back to sainsburys - don't fit!
Thinking of Mr S and hoping he is P'ing better and painlessly!
And you Lottie - just keep on, that's what we're all here for and you have been for me personally too..
Bye now see yer later 'gater(s)
P>S> Neti I hope your back is a bit easier today..x
Morning all...very dark, damp & miz here.
jno, just close your eyes, flick open a world atlas & stick a pin in. If you're anything like me you'll land in Blackpool :o). Tis true.

Well I give up trying to have a poppy on here. I added it yesterday teatime & it's still not showing. I've cleared cache, everything, but it's a no show. I see others have had the same prob.

Hope all aches & pains are minimal & that Mr S is gathering speed each day. x
I've checked on Gravatar & apparently the fault must be on this site...is it slow on here for any one else?
Good morning all.

Site not slow for me, but don't know about the links with Gravatar being slow, Robi. I daren't experiment in case I can't get back to being a disapproving old Biddie <

Dull and misly still here today. Meeting friend for catchup chat at lunchtime in town and doing a few chores whilst I am there.

Have booked myself a massage tomorrow. My treat to me.

I took delivery of three parcels yesterday. Two lovely jumpers from Ebay at wonderful prices - brand new Next and M&S. The M&S one is a jumper dress and fits perfectly. £10.00 plus postage from a nice lady in Derby (Alveston or somewhere). New Kitchen retro curtains also arrived - Mr LL gave them and me quizzical looks. He probably thinks I am living in the past!!

Hoping Mr S is finding things easier to do! Hope your back is easing Nets. Enjoy your TaiChi Jude.

I am feeling OK :o)

Love to you all xxx
Oh, and can you let me know if you received an email from a weird biddie type address? I am not sure what I am doing!!
Yes Lottie, I've received it. I don't like messenger groups or hotmail though I'm afraid, they seem to attract problems.
I don't want anybody to join. All I was trying to do was to put you all into a group just on my 'contacts' so I wouldn't forget anybody. If it causes problems I will just get rid of it.

I just didn't realise what I had done!! :o(
Funnily enough Robi, I have never had any problems with Hotmail. No spam mail or anything. I only use it for Biddies though and a throw away AB address - never for buying anything, etc.
Well silly me clicked on I accept, but hopefully nothing untoward will happen. cos I trust lottie.

Back a lot easier at the moment, so been for a walk, not too long just in case, but baby steps. Had brekkie and a coffee out with hija, Done 4 loads of her clothes (half of which she found at the bottom of her wardrobe!!) that's the trouble with big wardrobes. Could have worn shorts today it was so warm but clouding over now. Must get all her washing finished and hung away.

Yay have downloaded the last Downton xo hopefully will watch today and then we can all feel free to chat about it.

Lottie your old woman avatar will be saved in gravatar for use at any time, I have a whole load of them!
I've got quite a few avatars saved with Gravatar, they haven't lost them they just won't appear on here which is where the problem is. Perhaps if they didn't spend so much time and effort trying to link this site with every other one in the bloomin' world things would get sorted... <mumble>
Hi, I know Neti (about Gravatar). What was worrying me was more AB. If I upload another one I might never get rid of it (as per Robi) and poor old lady will be stuck in Gravatar.
Glad you trust me Nets (Thinks, ha, ha, she is putty in my hands now)

Glad also your back is easier.

Off out now, byeeeeeeee
Cold and grey here and i am knackered. Wondered if I was coming down with something till I counted back to the last at all good night's sleep which was this time last week before the firework idiocy started...so maybe I am entitled to be tired. Had a nice glass of wine with a mate last night. Going to do a bit of light sorting later then go out shopping.
<<<< slaps Lottie >>>> well I felt like it ! x
Nets the sports back support I wore yesterday really helped. It may be worth considering one. It really doesn't show under fairly loose clothing and is great for making you remember to keep your back nice and straight.
Lottie I can't even wear a sports bra, I hate the tight restrictive feeling, my M&S bras are back enough, and anyway, nothing wrong with my posture, I am, like my mother, very upright!

Back/hip so much better, maybe cos the rain has stopped. Hija and I have sorted through her wardrobe and all neat tidy and clean!!

Well I need a whole body support. I'm crocking around here like an old woman today .Every bloody thing aches ..and this damp dreary weather isn't helping .
I may have a stiff drink shortly ..kill or cure .
Hope you are all OK ..nothing doing here .Same old .
I watched The Jury last night with Julie Walters .It seems to be good .She plays a barrister but I can't help thinking she's really Mrs Overall in a black gown and wig :)
See you later .
I was always very upright Neti, probably due to my mother always telling me to keep my shoulders back. She thought I might be self conscious about being tall when I was young. In fact I was the reverse, I was 5'10"ish and would wear four inch heels quite happily - I loved being tall and am annoyed that I have shrunk!!

My posture has suffered because of the arthritis in my back and the sports support really has helped with the pain. I was holding myself really awkwardly because of pain everywhee.

Hi Shaney. Horrible weather isn't it. It was almost dark here at about 3.00!!
PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM GETTING RID OF THAT BIDDIE GROUP THING - EMAILS ARE GETTING FLUNG AT ME FROM ALL DIRECTIONS AND THEY ALL SEEM TO BE LINKING UP TOGETHER!!

NETI'S FAULT!!!!!
