Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

Here's to Mr S. hoping he's doing what comes naturally much more easily today.
Our Robbie is still in Dancing - can't believe it.
Had a good night with my NF and the Baileys. I didn't get to bed until 1 o'clock. I was quite sober - honest. Did I tell you Sainsburys are selling 1 litre bottles for half price.
Sorry your back is giving you grief still Neti. Have you got another appointment with the Dr. I hope it eases up soon.
School today - so see yer later 'gater(s).

Morning all...very dreary and damp here. Won't be long before all the leaves are off, I can see the sky through the cherry tree now :o(. Lovely colours though.
Hope Mr s is doing well & everyone's aches 'n pains are tolerable. I had a crip night's sleep, I couldn't unwind, I was itchy & when I did start to drift my body jumped, I hate that...must have been the wrong sheets wat did it :o)
I always take my mobi upstairs too, partly because of the fire thing, the landline won't work if there's a power cut and if you heard an intruder they can see the light flash on the downstairs phone base if you're on the other one...I try not to get paranoid about burglars, hopefully my house is as secure as it's possible to be with one or two delaying obstacles here and there on the inside.
Belated happy birthday for Steady...my two are 38 & 36, makes me feel old but I don't regret having had them so young.

Good morning all its coooold here. Have just shovelled out the car ready to take it to collect my new one. Robi are you me? I spent most of last night awake and when i did sleep i dreamed that i was awake and yes I itched like mad. I put it down to some rather posh shower gel which smells of roses (l'occitane rose unit de mai) instead of my usual shea butter one...the rose one is going to be used as hand wash.
Did any of you see Antiques Roadshow from Birmingham on 30th Oct? My adopted brother Ronnie Archer-Morgan was on it as an expert of something or other! Have just downloaded it so I can see it.
Been out with hija who bought me a coffee, damp and spitting with rain, we don't get drizzle here thank heavens as I cannot breathe in that.
Am not going to mention my back again as so many of you are so much worse than I am.
Happy Birthday Steady!
Don't mention Downton cos am having a job getting it, have downloaded one in French! I ask you!!

Thank you Biddies for your emails. I feel a lot better now. People have far worse problems.
Neti, please don't stop posting about your back!! Please don't stop posting about anything, good or bad. We need each other.
Well, I have been reading up about mid foot Arthur Itis and it appears that the best shoes to wear are those that support the foot so as not to allow too much movement, and that hiking boots are the best option. That is probably why I can walk Meggie OK because I never take her out unless wearing hiking boots.
Anyone know of any sites where I can buy diamond encrusted silver hiking boots to wear with my new animal print fur jacket? (it's very nice buy I have been extravagant because it isn't exactly a warm coat, but it will make me feel really good when we go somewhere special - like the garden centre for cheese scones!!!!!)

Glad you saw your adoptive brother Nets.
Am now wearing a sports back brace and it's making me sit very upright so will hopefully improve my posture and ease the back pain. Am wearing grey jersey trousers and an almost knee length baggy jersey top which doesn't show the back brace. I feel almost trendy, just need me silver hiking boots.
Can't go out because I am expecting a delivery of new kitchen curtains (50's retro style)

That's me neti, old and smelling of roses.....better than old and smelling of wee (laughing) I am glad that Russell didn't get bounced out of strictly, he makes me smile. I did think that Anton was lovely with Nancy last week....very sweet and gentle.
New car is lovely, very ladylike after the jeep. Took the dogs out for a shakedown drive this afternoon before going out in the dark tomorrow morning. They were a bit dubious till I got the treats out then quite happy

woofy, I have joined a legal site called UKNova, they only have a certain amount of members, so sometimes you have to keep clicking until it accepts you. It is legal as they cannot upload progs if a dvd is released shortly, ergo can't get the last two episodes of Downton, but there are other ways (touches side of nose).
