Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

Lottie that's a real groaner :-)
He has always been an avid Star Trek fan and oh the joy when he realised the connection with his birthday (probably at about age 8 or 9)!!!!
Star Trek or Star Wars? I sat at the same table as William Shatner at dinner once but have not had the pleasure of dining with Darth Vader.
oh what's he like? I have always had a soft spot for him since I read that he breeds appaloosa horses...I thought he was superb with James spader (swoon) in Boston legal....If he's nasty and boorish, don't tell me!
no, he seemed nice, but I hardly said a word to him, thinking he probably had enough starstruck types babbling to him.

I'm assuming you mean Shatner... I don't imagine Darth Vader has much conversation anyway. "The ketchup is with you, young Skywalker," that sort of thing.
Star Wars, of course!! Sorry. Sci Fi is not my favourite genre!!!!

William Shatner is an icon though as far as Master LL is concerned!! He would be jealous.
oooh, yes, I used to swoon over James Spader but he seems to have 'gathered speed' since those days. Another favourite, Andrew McCarthy's still looking good at 51...

Darth Vader gives me the heebie jeebies.

Just remembered I had a very nice, mmm, mmm, dream about Liam Neeson last night. (Probably because I'd seen him on tv earlier)...
<drifts off>
He's still got the eyes, the voice and the smile though. Fireworks have just kicked off again :-(
ooph! This bed changing malarkey's a right rigmarole intit? And my best bedding hasn't dried so I've had to put on my 2nd best, perfectly ok just plain & not quite the right shade of blue. If I leave this mortal coil in an un-co ordinated bedroom I'll be very annoyed. I don't know why I bother just for myself...I'd be better off throwing a plumptious doggy bed in the corner, spinning round 3 times & dropping down on that...at least it would save me dragging myself off up the wooden hill with my handbag & glass of water. :o)
Woofie, who? Darth Vader?

Robi, No point in me coordinating things. I try but dog and cat on bed and man who throws things over the chairs just upsets the whole effect!
No Lottie, James Spader

The only things that match in my bedroom are the dogs

Never mind Robinia ..you can always co -ordinate your custards .
I thought I was the only person who took my handbag upstairs with me at night :)
Quiet day at Shaneytowers .Bit dull and dripping ,typical November weather .
Hope you are all OK and eating your greens and crusts .
We had a nice dinner ,the brussel tops were delicious and Mr S tucked in .He looks a bit better today.
I'm going to have a breeze round then dig in for Downton .
See you later xx
Glad to hear Mr S is improving. Did get the washing dry today - outside!!!!

Mr LL is up the chimney again coughing and spluttering!!

Signing off for this evening. Going to feed dog an cat and then think about feeding Mr LL and myself - our priorities aren't quite right in this house.

See you tomorrow. An early good night.

xxx
:¬) I take my handbag upstairs every night too. Oh yes and my mobile.

Hope Mr S feels better and better each day Shaney. I'm pleased he has got rid of the cathater (sp.) The Skeleton is nearly finished too Shaney, I have 2 clues not done. The ones across the middle of the grid. They're driving me potty.
Tonight I'm going to see if Robbie Savage is kicked out of Dancing then my NF is definitely coming round for a Baileys.

I've had a quiet day today...I was thinking about that dreadful motorway accident. The photos in the express were quite shocking.

Steady is 41 today. I went to see him yesterday and he was showing me his recent photos he has taken of the birds in his garden. He has a new lens for his camera and the photos are brilliant. Apparently it was very expensive but I don't know how much but he did say it was as dear as the camera.

I hope you all have a peaceful night in your co-ordinated or unco-ordinated bedrooms - whichever.
See you tomorrow Sleep tight!
glad to hear it Shaney. Lottie my boys say that your priorities are ok with them. My mobile always comes upstairs with me ever since the fire safety man at work pointed out that in a fire, the landline would be likely to fail and what use was the mobile downstairs?
Evening all, have been trying to post on here for a couple of hours on my laptop but it wouldn't stay connected. We all had a lovely paella lunch, then Mr N went into our room to watch dvds, hija wanted the telly in the front room so I've been stuck in hija's room watching "The Case". Back is killing me, so painfull, but I guess half of it is the weather. It's still peeing down and chilly now, as Robi would say ---deep joy load ---.

Off to hija's room again to see the last episode, nite nite x

No I didn't forget you Lottie, just thought I had done you first xx
you can take your handbag upstairs with you, Jude, but could you just leave the Baileys down here? Ta.
Question Author
Just popped in to say Goodnight .
..Now where did I put my handbag .....and the bottle.
I'm not leaving any drink downstairs for Jno to snaffle ,if there's no Baileys she may start on my whisky :)
Sleep well folks .
Good morning to you all. Still seems to be wet outside my window, such a leap from summer to winter, but who's complaining!!

How is Mr S? I do hope he is peeing freely now x
