Face packs

Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

Just had a phone call from big sister telling me that she's been to a talk on euthanasia, and has been informed how to do it so no one gets the blame. Horrible subject but I agree with it. Mind you she's still banging about like a good 'un, so holefully no need yet. I cannot think about it fully as it;s too upsetting.

Lovely gardens Robi and Lottie. Puts my mini 1 CM viola to shame. It was late and I was tired last night when I was typing. Tell me it looks ok Robi please! I have loads of pots of Pansies/Violas and only 1 other has decided to flower as yet. That one is definitely pansies yellow and blue. I'm pleased with that one I've put it at my front door as the one I normally put there has not decided to blossom yet.


That sounds a sad conversation with your big sister, Neti. She must have a very strong character yet nobody knows how you would feel in the same situation.

I'm feeling the cold this morning and my throat is now getting sore. I'm not coughing quite so much so the Potter's are helping a bit. Thanks for your thoughts.

I'm having an Eddie Cochran and early Elvis Presley day today. It is taking me right back to my Bopping days ( and it was called that!)

Have a good rest of the weekend all. See yer in a bit - going to feed my face now. Nothing much today only a Chicken Korma I made the other day.

Lovely pics Lottie...even the pampas! haha... I don't hate it, in the right place it does look lovely, it's just the association with new houses with an ornamental block wall and one pampas plonked in the middle of the front garden.
Neti there wasn't a single leaf after one man & his beast of a mower had been on Friday...actually I quite like to see some on the ground as long as they're not wet & black. Not many more to come off now...a 'freak' gust of wind & they could be over Norfolk :o)

Just been out for quick lunch, Iberico sausauge on tomato bread (ie parma ham, chorizo and some other one cannot think of the name now) then entrecote steak with chips, very ncie and cheesecake with blackcurrant topping, bottle of red vino and bottle of fizzy casera (which is like a tasteless lemonade to mix it with). Very acceptablre.

Sorry to tell you these things about my sis but I just need to get it off my chest and don't like thinking about it, although I'm there for her when and whatever.

hello all, having a quiet day today. Took the does out this morning, walked 20 feet from the car, turned round and couldn't see the car in the fog!!! Anyway I decided that i may be an idiot bit I am not a foolhardy one so i let the dogs run around in the fog for 10 minutes or so then put them on leads and carefully got back to the car and came home.
Neti I just wanted to send you a hug. If your Sis is like my DH she will feel better for being in control of her destiny but its hard for the rest of us.

Thanks woofy, yes it is hard but I support her 100% in anything she decides, and I'll be there when she needs me.

Evening all
Quiet day here too.Just had lovely roast beef dinner
Lovely garden pics .I won't show you mine .It's a mess .Gardener can't come for a couple of weeks .He's been booked right up with the mild weather By then it may well be under a couple of feet of snow so it won't matter :)

I've got hydrangeas blooming though.New leaves and bloom coming through what had died down .Unbelievable for this time of year .
I also have a blackbird singing in the dead of night .
I assume it's a blackbird .He kicks off at about midnight and goes on for a couple of hours on and off .

I'm sorry to hear about your sister Neti .These things are so upsetting .At least she's strong about it all by the sound of it and in control and lucky to have you to support her .

Hope you feel better soon Jude .Hot lemon and honey with a dash of whisky will sort you out :)
