This is a genuine question for those who think I may be joking.

For about the past 4 weeks I have had itchy nipples & sometimes itching of the whole of the breast(s). Sometimes I have an itchy scalp and the last week my stomach has started itching.

I have not been using any different chemical products such as washing powder, bath oils etc. (No, I haven't got headlice either..)

Any ideas. I am also sneezing a lot with an itchy runny nose - so obviously this is some sort of allergic reaction, but it is dumbfounding me as to what.

A very good idea Lottie; it may have an anaesthetic effect.

moisturisers and seamless bras are the only way to go from now on.
and wait till you get the hot flushes......and insomnia.......and panic attacks......and palpitations.......and facial hair.......oh the list is endless!!!!! the only good thing is you save a fortune each month.
Oh what a funny thread, tho I do sympathise, Im perimenopausal too at 44 !

scratch, scratch
Although they are getting less and less the hot flushes are still preferable to the years of wasted weeks.

I have got a similar problem, only its in the downstairs topiary! I had an abcess under a tooth which has now been removed but the mega antibiotics they gave me have induced a really severe itching down below. Took one of those tablets today which are supposed to clear it up, so we'll see.

Why does scratching relieve an itch? Andy why do you itch more when exposed to the air - I mean my feet always itch when I take my socks off, not my knickers. Oh hell knew I should have signed in under another name!

ethandron you have depressed me now.
Facial hair?
I won't save anything at all - I'm on the mini-Pill & don't have periods anyway.
I'm sticking with Lottie's theory that it's going out with a Welshman with a breast fixation which has caused it.
I am just not ready to be menopausal. No no no.

"downstairs topiary" - good one ;-)
I just knew it was a mistake...

No the tooth was in the bottom (of my mouth you fool). When the air gets to the downstairs topiary the pubes begin to itch.
Do you think I should shave them off or will they itch even more when they grow back?
LOL weel.......wow!!! I fancy Keith myself.

Crikey ... this is a thread and a half !
Morning salla I was thinking about your nibbles, no I havent turned, just wondered how you were today ? xx
Question Author
thanks for thinking of me cab.
The nipples are still a bit itchy, as is the surrounding area. However, not as itchy as yesterday. I have a bath last night and gave them a good soaking and rubbing of unscented bath oil - E45 to be exact. Not exactly Jo Malone fig & pomegranate, but cheaper and quite effective.

Scalp more of a problem today. ;-)

I had a nightmare last night about the menopause thanks to ethandron. I had lost all my teeth and had sprouted a moustache. I stopped wearing perfume and started buying Replens in bulk.
Scarey.
you've just described my ex!!!
