We're getting close to Christmas! Traditionally this is what you've been losing weight for (in anticipation) - is it going to be tiny portions on Christmas day, or are you thinking "Sod it, it's Christmas!" (Although I am thinking that already - all downhill from here!)

Hi Wendilla, Thanks for the support.......so important. I can't report much sun down here in Spain at the moment but it is definitely warmer.
Onwards and downwards ......................
well done Wendilla for being back on track.
Hi xstitcher. I get the occasional hunger pangs even though I always have a good brekkie. Usually a piece of fruit or a bit of natural yoghurt with a tsp on honey does the trick.
Ive been really good this week so Im hoping to have lost some tonight as last week I stayed the same and was good that week also. My home scales are showing 2lb loss but we will have to see what theirs say. O A D..................xxxxxxxxxx
Hi everyone, I've lost 2lb! It's the first time in ages that I've lost anything. I'm going to be really good from now on, cos been half-arsed was getting me nowhere. Well done Wendilla for starting to lose again. Good job you didn't get down-hearted, you've kept positive and that's helped me too. X-stitcher, I have been eating lots of fruit this week. Cherries are almost as good as sweets to me! Good luck this evening TheOtherHalf, and good luck everyone else following this thread!
Well done notafish. keep up the good work. I`ll post results tomorrow

Perhaps we should have an end of week loss results like the football

Wendilla 2 Notafish 2
X stitcher 0 TOH 0

Only joking xx
My periodic depression kicked in and I am now heavier than I have ever been started slimming world last night as it worked for me in the past and it gives more 'comfort type ' foods Really struggling though as not fair on Redman...I know its more to cuddle but I wouldn't want to cuddle a blob like me right now...
Well done Notafish and Theotherhalf I hope the other scales match yours . Like the 2-2 lol Rowanwitch you are going the right way you are making a start so good luck for next week .How much do you need to lose.?
Hi guys, I've lost another 4lbs this week but I think that was mostly because I had a cold and lost my appetite a bit.
Well done Tiggerblue if you think its because you have been poorly just be careful this week but well done anyway. Once baby stars crawling it will fall of lol I always like to add if you can drink unsweetened grapefruit that helps the sweet pangs but I think you said you are breastfeeding so might not be a good idea.
Thanks Wendila, I have been drinking grapefruit juice as I like it anyway. Is that bad when breastfeeding?
now have 9 stone to lose I'd got it down to 5 last summer
Well done tigger and notafish.

I couldnt believe it, only HALF POUND loss !! Doesnt match my scales at all as they said 2 lbs before I went. I couldnt stay as had a hospital visit 20 miles away. I emailed my consultant when I got back to say I was disapppointed but the thing is, she had tried arranging the room differently and the scales were in a different place to normal and I think that could make a different, dont you ? Im still waiting for a reply to see if anyone else made the ssame comment. Even my OH was annoyed as he knows how hard I work at it. So I will let you know what I hear

Well done rowan for joining SW which is what Im at. Lots of people on here will give you advice and support. We all need it whether we have 8 lbs or 8 stone to lose.
The scales being placed differently could absolutly make a difference. They have to be stable and not on a soft surface (carpet etc) According to my scales which are in the same place I weigh almost 2 lb more than yesterday......impossible......new scales again????
I think everybody is doing brilliantly and are to be congratulated......onwards and downwards............
Hi The otherhalf I must agree with you I can move my scales a foot and they weigh different. Only thing I can think off is floor is uneven so I weigh on same spot every time as sometimes can be up to a 1lb of difference.
I agree entirely - my scales have to be in exactly the same place in my bathroom. I think it could be the lie of the floor, but I too can vary by 2 lbs (usually up!) if the scales are in a different place - or even pointing in a different direction. I was watching that drastic diet programme on TV last night and it emphasised how important it is always to use the same scales, too, as scales in different locations will very so much - and that the early morning undressed weigh is always the most accurate one. Good luck all - onwards and downwards!
My scales also vary depending on whereabouts in the bathroom they are. They also vary where I place my feet on them, if my feet are nearer to the dial I'm heavier than if I stand back. I weigh myself first thing in the morning before breakfast in the nude (on Wednesdays, only).
Anyway, I've ordered new scales and they'll be arriving at the end of the month and they look very accurate and easier to read.
Wendilla and all of you have been very encouraging, it's good that we're all doing this together.
I always keep my scales in the utility room where the floor tiles have been spirit levelled! Lol
Hi Notafish, I can just see us all now standing as far back on the scales as possible lol...............................
Heehee :-)
I hope nobody falls off...........
