I keep thinking about the Ed's question of motivation. One good motivator that I think is VERY important is all of you. Your support and finger pointing when needed is very helpful for keeping on track. Thanks to the faithful few and onwards and downwards...it seems we have all been very good this week, so let's keep up the good work.
Were I to look in your full length mirror I may just get depressed and downhearted. How do you find it motivating ? Have you made great strides since the time you first looked in it ? Personally, I can't see any real difference in a mirror. I still stick out like a beachball at the middle.
The motivation lies in wanting to enjoy what one is looking at and not wondering who that over weight person in the mirror is.....definitely not me!!!!!
Not sure about motivation but I find the weather tends to get a bit better in March and I can get more exercise with gardening. Can lose myself in the garden and not think about eating for hours.
well done maggiebee. You are obviously doing the right things. I was away on holiday last week but I think I may have gone about 2lbs ( not too bad considering all the meals out and extra drink etc ) Weigh in tomorrow will tell but I will be going to Zumba tonight to get a bit off
TOH I'd love to try Zumba but have had two hip replacements. They were both very successful and I can get up and boogie again but not sure I could stand the pace of Zumba. Sounds like you had a good holiday.
Well done Maggibee. Keep up the good work .TheOtherHalf I am sure you will rectify it if you have gained .We all have a blip.. I am looking for another loss tomorrow I have got back on track and aiming to lose 10lbs by the end of the month.
Many pastry type things could benefit by having less fat altogether. I like things like pasties but on the rare occassion I allow myself one I always think they are not as great as they could be as the grease level is too high.
Was on chicken broth yesterday evening, but even though it helped keep the calories down I'm unsure I made my 'five a day'.
Looks as if I may be heading for a small loss tomorrow, but mustn't count my chickens yet. (There'll be one less since yesterday anyway.)
Well I am finally off the naughty step having gone down by 1 kilo this week. The word NO and STOP have been very much in my silent talk-to-myself vocabulary this past week and it seems to have paid off. As I still can't do any exercises this is more of a loss than I expected.
