If you looked in your handbag today, what would you find!  A prize of a chocolate cake for the person with the most items and don't cheat.  Please include items in your purse that are not money or plastic!

In my bag I have:

Purse - containing money, switch card, credit card, library card, blockbuster card, gym membership card, boots advantage card, nectar card. Stamps, voucher for free cinema ticket, post it note with hairdressers appointment time and date on it.
Mobile phone
Keys
Front bit of my car radio (odd given that I got the bus to work)
Security pass for work
Bus ticket (by friday it will be 5 tickets)
Lip balm
Notepad and pen
Mints
Credit card bill - to remind me to pay it
A birthday card - to post on the way home
book tokens - from my birthday - I kept not spending them so put them in my bag to remind me next time I'm in a bookshop
Slightly scary looking set of passport photos of me taken this morning when I wasn't really awake
Passport renewal form - see last item...
that's it. It seems a fair bit but I don't think I'll get the chocolate cake...

Looking through this it's no wonder my friends call me Mary Poppins with the magic bag. Although you'd be amazed at how small my bag is.

Hey! a woman needs something for every occasion. Can't wait to see what others have, might give me a few ideas......

purse containing:

Money and Credit/Debit cards, packet of 1st class stamps,  Tesco Card, Morrisons Card, Orange phone card, Discount card for local art shop, nectar card,  Gardeners Reward Card and a friends business card.

Rest of Bag:

Numerous tissues (counts as one item!), pen, packet of wet wipes, Morrisons receipt for groceries, Moisturising body spray, hairbrush, 4head stick, emery board, hayfever relief eye drops, a stray piece of chewing gum (unused!), Clarins perfume, pressed powder and two lipsticks, concealer,  Zovirax cold sore ointment, Bach Rescue Remedy, Blistex.

I am not allowed to claim the prize.

hello all! I have (Deep breath)

My ipod, book, travel card, keys, purse, colour swatch (in case I go shopping) a book on my colours (don't leave home without it!, mobile phone, hairbrush, lip thingy, hair thingy, perfume thingy, nail file, and case for it all to go in, oh yeah and wet wipe thingys cos the tube is soooo dirty, also had a letter to post and a couple of bills to pay. So it was sooo boring!

In a bag I brought to work today were two submarine cheese and spicy pickle rolls and a chocolate wagon wheel. All that's left is some pickle that's smeared on the inside.

Bliemy you all seem to have soo much but i clear all my gubbins out every now and then, i have a purse with numerous cards some money and low and behold a condom! Have to be safe these days....

House and car keys, cigerettes, lighter, lip balm, tampons, chewing gum and my mobile and that really is it.

in the rest of my bag - mobile phone, umbrella, keys, pressed powder, 2 lipsticks, hairbrush, mirror, council tax bill, notepad and pen, chewing gum, starburst sweets, tampons, used bus tickets, used train tickets, work security pass, perfume, nail file, mini sewing kit, bandaids, paracetamol, lighter, tissues, roll-on migraine stuff, bottle of water, tube map, brochure about London walks, the list just goes on!!!

2 diaries, 1 address book, 1 cheque book, 1 umberella, 2 building society books, 1 mobile phone, 1 purse(containing not much money and store loyalty cards), car keys, work keys, 1 note book, 1 "Race for Life" sponsor form, throat sweets, asthma inhaler, paracetamol, blister plasters, lipsyl, breath fresherner, nail file, paid credit card bill, book, numerous pens, numerous store cards, library card, cheqing gum, cold sore cream, birthday card for my friend (which I must remember to post), stamps, holiday photographs and a small bottle of water.

No wonder I have a sore shoulder!

In my (limited experience), it is everything that is needed (except tissues?), everything that may be needed and everything that will be never needed (including, but not limited to two pairs of sunglasses on a rainy day).

On the odd occasions that I go out without a bag, Bangkok, I feel completely lost.  I don't know how you chaps manage with just pockets!

Purse - money, Dankort, Visa credit card, medical card, blockbuster card, three different library cards, insurance card thingy (so I can call my insurance comapny if I lose my keys), copy card (??),  student identity card, a picture, different bus and train tickets, prescription, receipts.

mobilephone, notepad, pens, lip balm, lip gloss, mascara, earrings, MP3 player, batteries, gym card,lighters, cigarettes, Vicks BLue, more receipts, book, gum both in wrapper and on the run, old cinema tickets.

I wonder why my gym card is in the bag and not in the purse...

I had completely forgotten about a couple of the membership cards and the sewing kit - but I am sure I will need them, so they are staying right where they belong - in the handbag!

Hi FP - in my handbag, I have:

A Cross in my pocket prayer (from a friend), Fountain Pen, Pencil, Driving Licence, Blood Donor card, Address Book, Diary, No. 7 Lipstick, Lip liner pencil, Pressed powder, Otrivine Nasal spray, 2 mini packs Kleenex tissues, Magnifying mirror in a case, Manicure set, Steel comb, Hairdressing scissors in leather case, Optrex refreshing eye drops, pack of chewing gum, 2 x packs of cigarette papers for dabbing lpstick purposes only, an Asda receipt, photo fob. You can club all the receipts together, but it's just as I found them!

Inside one of my bag pockets, I keep my leather wallet which contains: Visa Debit card, few receipts, Invest Direct card,  Nectar card, Tesco Club card, Debenhams card (never used), BlockBuster card (never used), Matalan card (never used), Mecca Bingo card (never used, so will never be rich), Library card.

In my purse, apart from money, I have: Book 1st Class stamps, Air Mail stickers, a Lucky charm, a snip of green material, snip of green carpet, spare key, list of Taxi numbers,  measurements of daughter's windows, Grandchild poem, 4xSyndol tab's, 3xZantac tab's, 2xMotillium tab's, nail file, snip of green Roller blind material, snip of green leather,  3xpic's of hairstyles, another Zantac, measurements of our windows, Primark receipt, Pump repair kit receipt, List of spoken word tapes & books.

Well that's my bag sorted out, thanks FP!
