With all the support i recieve i try to be positive but having constant hiccups for 3 weeks ,persistent pain in the arse,not being able to sleep and feeling weak its a struggle, i would not wish it on anybody

Those hiccups are draining, I know and lack of sleep can send you quite insane, please promise that whatever you tell us on here, you also tell your caring team. It is so important they know exactly how you are feeling. ♥

If the treatment isn't working, could you get it changed to morphine? Sister-in-law had to be rushed back into hospital with the same pain as you, her morphine was increased and the pain eased considerably. She is now home again and healing slowly.

One doc prescribed morphine, but my own doc says cocodamol.
