>>>stop lunch time boozing on work days.

Or stop working on booze days!
I haven't made any.
I don't usually make any but I have this year. Lose a stone or more by April.
To stop bailing out my adult offspring and make them manage their money better instead of knowing that mum will not let them 'starve'.
Spend less time on here. (When I'm back at work.)
I was thinking about this on December 30th. I know stop drinking, which for me means wine. December 31st daughter drops off grandchildren and hands me bottle of a lovely red wine. Oh well I thought I can start tomorrow and promptly open it. Later on rumour that my nephew was coming round and nothing in house to drink. (You cant offer a glass of already opened red to see in New Year). Asked other daughter who phoned me from Tesco to bring bottle of something sparkling. She turned up with Prosecco, sparkling rose and small frixnet, or whatever its called. Nephew didnt turn up. Drank small bottle with daughter 2. Yesterday out of boredom drank the rose with husband. Where did I go wrong?
Start being grateful for what I have and stop worrying about what I havent got. This is my biggest flaw! I need to control my tolerance to uncertainty and just get on with things, work hard and enjoy my achievements!
Mine's the same as grasscarps :o)
Hiya Mazie. I have refined resolution to "will not buy any wine in 2013". That way I neednt refuse anything I am given or offered when eating out, but will save money and cut down considerably on intake. Liver recovers and money saved. Win win.

On target, just refused my first, "comming down the pub" request of the year! It's going to be tough!
Hiya grass.. I hope you manage it. I don't think I could.

(hope you had a great Christmas x)
There was an article in the Times, yesterday, (I can't believe I just typed those words) stating that the Gov. guidelines for alcohol consumption are way too high. They just made it up.
