Heartbreaking!

Got phone call this morning FIL taken turn for the worse in hospital so we got up there asap....he has been in there for 4 weeks ...the utter shock of seeing how he had deteriorated to absolutely un-recognisable took us back... once a fit burly man now just all bone and lifeless in just 4 weeks life is so cruel ...I hope he passes quickly we hate seeing him like this ...doctor reckons 24 hours if that ...heartbreaking

How awful...one always wishes..hope our loved ones don't suffer. Definitely a cruel life...and not one that anyone should endure. I do hope the end is peaceful and you can come to terms with it.....not easy and sometimes impossible to live thru.xxx. In my thoughts....
