Is a guy with a old mobile phone sad?

I have a friend that has a mobile phone from 4 years ago, he won't change his mobile and i think he looks sad! I believe this is a massive turn off to ladies, what do you think guys/gals?

Letting the company down. If you'd have said that then answers may have been different as the company may want his mobile to advertise theirs but no you said a massive turn off to the ladies, which is shallow.

I think that the only people who would find this a problem would be pretty shallow. It's like having a 4X4 just because everyone else has one, whether you need it or not.

ntsimbidaros sounds like he/she has a few issues, if its a bloke then i bet hes short....
There does seem to be a lot of people giving me a hard time about this. Most of the ladies i know think its a sign of lazyness to not change your phone yearly as they are now free...

no right minded man has a snappy new mobile, they're harpy magnets. As all the lovely ladies here have testified anyone who judges you by your mobile phone is a shallow bint and best avoided at all costs. Perhaps your friend realises this?

Only someone really shallow would insist on a bloke having a cool phone. although I did badger my friend about getting a new one, but only cos I wanted him to be able to take photos and send them to me!!

I'm really not trying to be shallow about this. Just trying to live in the real world where people send each other pictures by SMS and your phone has more functionality than a calculator.
Just for the record - ntsimbidaros.... I do really have a shaved head, but i don't have a pit bull.... I have a Shar Pei instead. and i'm deffinatley not a burberry wearing chav that has a phone playing out the streets on the bus.
