Homosexuals
32 Answers
Now I may get in trouble for this but I'm gonna ask anyway, and before any homosexuals get on my back I have many gay friends so I'm not meaning to sound stereotypically but I just wondered if there is some connection between gay people and their voice boxes? as most gay people have girly voices, and often the boys who's voices never broke at school turned out to be gay. This is not meant to offend anyone.

Certainly not all homosexual people have these characteristics, and many effeminate men and masculine women are not homosexual, but the traits are common enough to create almost universally recognized stereotypes. Homosexuals may be using these characteristics to identify each other, and more often than they should, heterosexuals suspect homosexuality when they encounter an effeminate man or a masculine woman. Take David Walliams for example. My gay friend uses the ability to swap from masculine to effeminacy in the blink of a false eyelash, depending on who is in the room.

ooooooh brave question sis.
Ive thought about the few gay people i know and have to say that the gay couple we knew as kids, one had a deep voice and the other a higher pitched one. a couple i know now (lesbians) one has a much lower voice than the other. And a lesbian relative of ours did also have a very deep voice.
Bit worried though as me and you may have deeper voices than some women lol

I just asked because most of my gay mates have girly voices or some way you can definitely tell they are gay, as I said Im not going on stereotypical view of things, its just that why do some gays have high voices. And I just asked because we were discussing it at weekend. oct brilliant answer and yer I know I;m offending everyone lately, woops :-)
4get I had an uncle that was gay and I didn't have a clue,he was a big bloke, worked as a labourer on the roads, built like a brick sh!thouse, deep voice,I had a hell of a shock when I went to his flat one night for a meal and this other bloke was there who he said was his friend and he was like Kenneth Williams, but I later learnt it was my uncle that was the feminine one.
