Tapeworm

the tapeworm thing made for pretty interesting reading. i want to know what the symptoms are for this parasite when humans are the host. Do they suffer weight loss, fatigue, itching around the anus, and no iam clear on HIV having just had the test as a precaution. Help anyone cos its making me paranoid!!

I don't think you should worry until you start dragging your rse on the lawn. Or, you could google.

Apparantly itching around the anus is one of the biggest symptoms, but maybe you could go see a doctor?

That sounds fairly standard, but could mean many other things. The test is easy to find eggs, and the cure is usually a basic pill to kill it, and then one to (excuse me) expel it, though I have to admit I read this at the vet, but applies to all carriers, cat or human.
