I have heard this is possible but not if you were born with the missing limb. Something to do with spatial awareness which we learn soon after birth.
its well documented that amputees have a sensation following limb removal.
My friends dad lost his leg in an accident over 20 years ago and he says that it itches, aches and once i sat on the bed to chat to him and he was shouting at me to get off his leg. He`s now on tablets that stop these sensations.
I had my full right leg amputated 28 years ago and I still get phantom pains and itches. Sometimes these pains can get really bad and there is nothing really you can do to stop them
Ah-ha your`e the person in the know then,so my mates dads tablets don`t really work then? He`s been saying they don`t for the past 5 years but his wife`s having none of it!LOL.
