how can i get off work friday, anyone got a really good excuse?

best way Ive ever found is to book it as holiday, either paid or unpaid (depends how desperate you are to take day off)

To be fair, I feel so sick at the thought of phoning in if I wasnt sick, it wouldnt be worth it as I wouldnt enjoy it anyway!
I am one of the saddos that despite being plagued with everything still come in and share my germy friends with everyone else!

Booking a days holiday normally needs 2 weeks notice....bad back is the best option...just start shuffling about on Thursday afternoon so people notice then ring in Friday morning....lazy arse

Phone in Friday and tell them you've broken your neck. When you arrive in Monday and they query said neck breaking, simply tell them the doctors got it wrong.
