Psychic moments...
104 Answers
Do you often get little moments which make you wonder if you are psychic in some way? Like you think about someone and they ring you. Or you talk about a song you like and it comes on the radio? Are these just coincedences (sp?) or do you believe that you may have some kind of psychic ability?
I was at the 'walk in centre' hospital today (a whole other story).. and I was sitting in the waiting room with my sister and I started thinking about the smallest thing someone would go to the emergency room for.. Like would someone go there just because they had a splinter? I was thinking about this for a few mins and how maybe they would go if the splinter got infected etc... (it was very boring in the waiting room.. lol) and as I was thinking this and still pondering it, a woman walked in and started talking to the receptionist and the reason she was there was because she had a splinter in her finger and it was infected! I was amazed at this and thought I was psychic in someway! My sister said it was just a coincedence though. I do this a lot though.. but it is always in the mildest form. Like think of a movie and turn on the tv and it's on. Or talk about a friend and they ring me.
What about you?

I always dream stuff that happens; it's just really mundane things like conversations but when they come true I always try to change the course of events, although usually everything pans out how I dreamt it would anyway.
The weirdest was when I dreamt Diana died, woke up in the morning and just said to my mum 'Diana died in a car crash' and it was the night it had happened any my mum freaked! I wouldn't mind but I could never stand the woman. (For the record I was 11 when she died).
I was also sat next to a friend once in a class at school, and I heard her ask me what I was doing at the weekend, so I started to reply - just as she asked me what I was doing at the weekend. Everyone on the table heard me start to reply before she'd asked the question, and that freaked them all out a bit.

Legend - I don't want posts from a chosen few, I don't care who answers my thread but I asked for examples and what you thought when it happened. I didn't realise however that you were one of the people who had the 21:24 thing happen to them personally so I will go back and look but in my personal opinion, that wasn't spooky at all because I had the same answer for that Q and just think it's was a handful of people who knew the same thing and coincedently posted at the same time. I would have thought this even if I had been one of the 3 posters.
And there is a different between liking being accepted and needing to be accepted! I find it nice when I am accepted but don't particularly need acceptance to feel good about myself.

a play on words but nothing more ruby.
you could say the same about many of the things youve mentioned.
as they say some folk are predictable , meaning their habits and mannerisms can lead people to guess , or predict , what they will say or do.
like ion your reaction to my post about 21.24 .
i knew youd react that way and dismiss it offhand simply because it was me .
but bring boo and jno into it then you will go back and reconsider your opinion.
predicting or guessing is there a great difference i wonder ?

serious answer:
no i don;t get those slippers but i do get an awful lot of pre-deja vu, by that i mean some situation will happen and a key set of circumstances, and instead of thinking 'this has happened before' like deja vu, i think, 'i thought this happened before but it was just deja vu,' do you get me ?

personally i never believed him ever.
now was i psychic for knowing he was a hoaxer ?
or was it a good guess?
because i didnt guess i was 100% convinced he was a hoaxer.
so not guessing but was it psychic or just plain obvious?

Fairkatrina - That is spooky! I think I was about 13 when she died but didn't for see it. Lol.
I did have a dream once that Jamie Bulger's parents (You know the little boy that was taken from his mum in a shopping mall by two older lads?), well I had a dream that his parents had a little baby and when I woke up it was on the radio that they had had a little baby... I think they called it Michael! Can't really remember though... And while it freaked me out at the time, when I look back now, I think it was that I was slowly waking up and I could hear the radio from my mum and dads room and I heard the announcement.
Legend - I really don't get what you are about! You are trying to cause a row by making me out to be hostile, when clearly you are the one with some kind of bitter issue. I am in noway picking favourites. I sometimes give stars for answers that make me laugh but today I am giving stars for answers I find informative and in keeping with my question. If you can't deal with it then step aside while I read the other posts. Go somewhere else for your acceptance and rows as you won't find them here. I could of however predicted that as someone who regularly writes a lot without really managing to say anything, you would bombard my thread with drivel and ramblings and moan when it didn't go your way. Have a great night. :o)

call me a psychic.
but the girls just told me im totally correct , without saying it.
acceptance through denial is what id call it.
at no time have i said anything as derogatory or insulting as your last post .

rambling and drivel.
well if thats your opinion of answers then why post here.
remember ruby this is an open site where anyone can answer your posts.
if its limited or restricted at least have the decencey to put that in your initial post.
its only good manners and im sure if folk know you only want select answers they can spend their time posting elsewhere.
i must say you do come across tonight as incredibly rude and ever so slightly pompous too.
carry on , perhaps in future your manners will return .

Actually Legend, you are wrong again I'm afraid. I saw Boo and Jno's names but didn't realise you were the third as I looked at the link very quickly as it made my computer slow right down when I opened it. I didn't think your opinion on it would have counted as you weren't involved personally in the 'happening' of it... Then you said it was you who was involved in it so now I see your opinion on it as valid. However, your 'predictions' that I would dismiss your posts because it was simply 'you'.. was nothing more than a continuous behavioural pattern that I proceed to show towards you, even though it never truly works because each time you try your best to engage me in conversation and it always works because me, like you seem to always have to have to have the last word.
