Older men and youger women

I'm 17 years older than my wife, age has never been an issue for us although it was for her parents but they are ok now.
What age diffrence would other ABers find unacceptable?

My granny's husband was 10 years older than her and broke my heart when he died because she was sooo utterly devestated. It now breaks my heart everytime I see her 4 years on as she is still so distraught without him. He was 94 when he dies by the way.

My other nans third husband was 30 years older than her. He left her lots of money to help her get over it...she seems fine by it all.

I then go on to become rich betting on every missed England penalty from 1985 to now, correctly bet on the winners and loosers of the world cups I remember and end up trading you in for a model half my age when you start to pick up the odd rust patch!

However wrong I feel such a huge age is, I wish to add that if Stacey Slater wanted to get jiggy with me, I would happily let her. I think she is about 19/20 ish.

Lol John.... I live in a town heavily populated with marines. They all say stuff like you and personally, I think they are like it because they know what rude things they were doing to peoples daughters. I forsee, please don't take offense at this, that your daughter will smile sweetly when she has come home from piano lessons or netball practice, when in fact she has been snogging some longhaired, pot smoking, makeup wearing hippy for the last 2 hours.

I'm 22 and (for a relationship) I don't think I could go above the age of 30. It depends on the person, though, I suppose.

My sister was 16 when she moved in with her 27 year old boyfriend and his two kids. (My dad nearly exploded!) They were together for about three years and a year on she still talks about how much she regrets it and the things she missed out on- in just three years!

If it works for you, though, johnlambert, that's great! :o)

my wife turned 30 in March, we are as happy now as we were when we started seeing each other, in fact, sorry, tell a lie, we're happier now than when we met. although I've told her that when she's 40 I'm swapping her for two twenty year olds lol
goodsoulette I eat Marines for breakfast, and if i ever find out my sweet daughter has snogged a long haired pot smoking make up wearing hippy, I'll hunt him down and rip apart his rib cage, pull out his still beating heart so that he can see how black it is just before he dies (that's if I'm in a good mob, woe betide him if he catches me on a bad day)

The only thing I would worry about is when all of her mates are going through mid life crisis's and she wants to go out clubbing with them and your 60 lol

Personally I dont think theres a problem as long as u can relate to each other and have common interests.

However what would you say when your 17 year old daughter comes back with her "experienced" 34 year old boyfrind lol
