Feel very good about it xstitcher. Like I said, I really don't expect that to happen every week and I won't be trying to set unrealistic goals.
The big difference is giving up my mini binges. I could easily eat a couple of bags of crisps, a chocolate bar and whatever else I could find in a short space of time then go on and have my dinner as normal. At the moment I just don't have the urge to do that and I'm hoping the longer I can go without it the easier it will be to break the habit and follow sensible healthy eating plans.
I agree with focussing on what you can eat. I try and think of it in terms of ' well, I can have one chocolate bar which'll be gone in 30 seconds or I can have a packet of Snack - a jacks, a piece of fruit and a couple of my mini crispbreads with some ham' Second option probably has lesss calories than the chocolate and takes longer to eat so feels more satisfying.
