Weight Gain

Hi Out there...feeling a bit down. Today was my weekly weigh in and have again put on 1 lb. making it a total of 6 pounds in a couple of months. I have doing Rosemary Connely since last Sept and managed to loose 10 kilos.
My doctor had given me pills to help keep my hunger down ( I didn't think they did) but now they have been taken off the market. (can't remember their name)
I am eating the same and exercising every day (am 70 yrs old) so I just wanted some support really. I shall keep on of course but it is so annoying to see numbers going the wrong way.

I'm looking forward to being able to actually do some gentle exercise that I can stop when I need to. I used to love walking but since my chest became so bad I have to either walk very short distances or plan a route where I know there are benches or walls I can sit on to rest regularly.
My oh has decided to join me on my diet and exercise plan and we are going to be starting afresh from today. Our weights and measurements are going to be recorded in a diary each Friday.
Keep up the good work everyone. :)

Morning girls.Good advice Xstitcher ,What I do if I feel hungry and it's not far off mealtimes I have a small glass of water . I do not believe in drinking loads and loads of water and anyway I would need a loo every few yards if I did lol. Hope you get on well with your exercise bike Daffy. I'll stick to my walk too enegetic for me .

Hi Wendilla, Oh yum yum, those Yorkshire Puds.......I have started writing down everything that goes into my mouth but there are no surprises there. I have really made some very strict rules for myself which because I have already lost a lot are easy to keep to. When I get back on track I shall allow myself a few treats like you do. I really hope you enjoy your dinner with your son.
Morning everybody, how are you all getting on?
Went a little off course yestrday afternoon. It was my gran's 87th birthday and we had a mini party with sausage rolls, crisps and dips and, of course, cake - all some of my favourite things and very hard to resist. Made up for it in the evening with a low fat meal for one.
Husband is away for a few days and that tends to go one of two ways - either I get the girls sorted and packed off to bed then find that I can't be bothered eating; or I get lonely and fed up and pig out.
I'm finding that keeping a big bowl of sugar free jelly in the fridge is handy for when I fancy something sweet. It's very low in calories but tasty enough to feel like a treat.

Hi Yinyang we all stray off our plan at times and being your grans birthday you would have been miserable if you had not joined in and had the goodies.Don't know if you read back when I said that I have a glass of unsweetened grapefruit juice every morning and that seems to stop me from having sweet things and it also helps to break up fat .Just get back on track and happy birthday to your gran.Jelly is a good idea .And write everything down . It does help to see where you have gone wrong.
Just pop in to see what 's happening with everyone,I must just say I'll never remenber who is doing what so please don't think I'm ignorant if I don't say your name(s) .What an excellent idea to write everything down what I eat -hopefully that will pull me up smartish ! Not been the best today so have in indulged in a bit of chocolate ,a cappuccino and a small Tiramisu. Now if I'd had to write it down I 'm sure I wouldn't have had all that so here goes girls ,wish me luck .Also will start on the gentle exercise -bye for now -onwards and downwards .
