What's they best thing to put on my hand to stop them getting sweaty when I do ceremonial rifle practice on saturday which will be for about 5 hours!

Chalk is out of the question, would antipersperant help, or is there something else?

as much as I like you Molly, you haven't took on board what anyone is saying to you ♥
You're welcome Molly.
I'd say roll-on anti-perspirant, they last up to 24 hours.

why not have a trial run to try it out? - MUM 24h is good. £1 in Tesco.

it sounds like it works molly and you could use it on other occasions

Bobbi I have but; talc and chalk will mark my uniform, i can't keep wiping my hands, mazies sugestion is too expensive, and i'm not allowed to wear gloves. And i was seeing if there was something better than anti-persperant.

Vibra, it's not that exciting when you know you can't fire it . . . .

I hate to off such a mundane and practical suggestion but couldn't one of your Sea Cadet leaders offer some advice?
I understand what you mean about the talc and the chalk Molly but I would say the small piece of towelling is your best answer
Question Author
Some of the other cadets have been on shooting courses but they were at time when I couldn't go. I might get a chance in the future though . . .
In all fairness Molly did say chalk/talc was out of the question.

If she can't wear gloves she can't wear gloves..

She can't wipe her hands on her trousers for obvious reasons...

£1 deodorant sounds the best bet so far.
What do the other cadets do? One of them might have an idea
Question Author
Eccles, they could only think of anti-persperant, but like i've said in other threads, it doesn't seem very effective on me.
